Harris Relaunches ‘Kamala HQ’ as a Youth Organizing Platform Ahead of 2026 Midterms [WATCH]

Former Vice President Kamala Harris has reactivated and rebranded her former presidential campaign social media operation as she steps back into the political arena ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, a move that has reignited speculation about her long-term political plans, as reported by Fox News.

On Thursday, Harris announced that “Kamala HQ,” the online presence used during her 2024 White House campaign, has been relaunched under the name “Headquarters.”

The effort is being described as an online organizing and youth mobilization project focused on next-generation political engagement.

The account, which has amassed more than five million followers on TikTok and over one million followers on X, will now operate in partnership with the left-leaning advocacy group People for the American Way.

According to a release obtained by Fox News, the project is intended to “mobilize pro-fairness, pro-democracy, young people against far-right extremism” in the lead-up to this year’s midterm elections.

In a video announcing the relaunch, Harris said, “I’m really excited about it. So stay engaged, and I’ll see you out there.”

The announcement comes as Harris continues to draw attention following her loss to President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election.

Harris became the Democratic nominee after then-President Joe Biden ended his reelection bid three months before Election Day, following a widely criticized debate performance against Trump.

Speculation around Harris’ political future has intensified in recent months. A Democratic strategist familiar with her political operation told Fox News Digital that Harris’ renewed online engagement reflects her intention to remain active within the party.

“She has always said that she’s going to continue to be involved and be a strong voice for Democrats as there’s so much to push back on from the damage Trump and Republicans are doing to this country,” the strategist said.

“Her revived engagement on these platforms does that, and it adds another Democratic voice in the digisphere, which we need more of.”

“Plus, it keeps her options open for the future,” the strategist added, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Harris largely stayed out of the national spotlight for several months following the conclusion of the Biden administration early last year.

She began reemerging politically last spring and summer, including appearances at Democratic National Committee fundraisers.

Her decision last summer to forgo a run for governor of California further fueled speculation that she may be positioning herself for another White House bid in 2028.

At the same time, Harris has been touring the country promoting her memoir, “107 Days,” which chronicles the length of her 2024 presidential campaign. She is currently on the second leg of the book tour.

The Republican National Committee signaled it was unfazed by Harris’ renewed activity, responding to her announcement on X with a thumbs-up emoji.

Under the new structure, Harris will serve as chair emerita of Headquarters in an honorary capacity. Some former Kamala HQ staff members are returning to work on the project, though Harris will not have editorial control over the account’s content.

The release announcing the relaunch stated, “Conservatives build permanent organizing infrastructure. Progressives have historically built machines that dismantle after Election Day. Headquarters is the end of that cycle.”

The formal announcement followed a short video posted earlier Thursday morning showing an individual unsuccessfully attempting to log into the Kamala HQ account before entering the correct password: “headquarters.”
