Chelsea O’Donnell, the daughter of comedian Rosie O’Donnell, has been accused of assault after allegedly touching a man’s genitals without permission, according to a report obtained by TMZ.
The allegation was detailed in a document from the State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections explaining why Chelsea’s probation was revoked late last year.
The report states that the incident occurred while Chelsea was driving a vehicle and the alleged victim was seated in the backseat on the passenger side, as reported by The New York Post.

When the man “turned her down,” she allegedly became upset and “began to drive erratically and not pay attention to the road.”
TMZ reported that Chelsea later spoke with officials and denied assaulting the man.
Page Six has reached out to Rosie O’Donnell’s representative and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for comment.
Chelsea, 28, had her probation revoked and was sentenced to prison time in October 2025.
An official from the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court Team told Us Weekly at the time that she was in violation due to sexual assault allegations.
The official also said Chelsea demonstrated minimal progress in the treatment drug program.
Her six-year probation had been imposed in March 2025 after she pleaded guilty to charges stemming from three separate arrests in 2024. The sentence included two years for each of the three guilty counts.
The conditions of Chelsea’s probation required absolute sobriety, no possession of alcohol or controlled substances without a valid prescription, no contact with known drug users or sellers, and no possession or ownership of firearms, according to People.
Her first arrest occurred in September 2024 during a domestic dispute involving her boyfriend, Jacob Nelund, at their home.
Police reports indicated that officers found a meth pipe allegedly left within her son’s reach, along with “a black and silver digital scale, some used gem bags with white residue, and a sharps container that had more used and unused hypodermic needles.”
In October 2024, Chelsea was arrested again after allegedly attempting to throw a meth pipe out of her car window during a traffic stop.
Her third arrest took place in November 2024 and involved charges of possession of methamphetamine, bail jumping, and possession of narcotic drugs.
Following those cases, Chelsea entered the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court program. However, according to court officials, she did not make sufficient progress in treatment.
Chelsea has had a strained relationship with Rosie O’Donnell for much of her adult life. Rosie adopted Chelsea as a baby in 1997.
At the time of Chelsea’s sentencing in October 2025, Rosie shared a photo of her daughter on Instagram “before addiction took over her life” and asked for prayers as Chelsea “faces a scary future.”
The Wisconsin Department of Corrections report outlining the alleged assault was cited as part of the basis for revoking Chelsea’s probation and imposing prison time.
