Rep. Mary Miller Drops Truth Bomb on House Floor [WATCH]

Rep. Mary Miller delivered remarks on the House floor addressing concerns about the influence of Sharia law in the United States, calling for action and urging lawmakers to confront what she described as a growing threat to American principles and constitutional values.

Miller began by thanking a colleague for organizing the discussion and raising what she said is an issue many have avoided.

“Thank you, Congressman self for holding this special order and for confronting an issue that too many are afraid to name with clarity and conviction. Thank you,” she said.

She argued that Sharia law is fundamentally at odds with the framework of the United States.

“Sharia law is fundamentally incompatible with our Constitution and values that define our nation,” Miller said. She continued by describing what she believes is the broader objective behind its spread. “Its mission is to expand influence and impose control at the expense of basic human rights,” she said.

Miller also referenced concerns about terrorism and cultural integration, stating, “We are currently witnessing the chilling rise of Islamic terrorists who openly adhere to Sharia.”

She added, “They reject assimilation, they reject our laws. They reject the very idea of America itself.”

Turning to her colleagues in Congress, Miller criticized what she described as a lack of response.

“Many of my colleagues on the other side have chosen to stay silent,” she said.

“They sit on their hands while Sharia law marches through America.”

She continued, “They refuse to speak honestly or act with urgency to defend the fundamental rights of the American people.”

Miller emphasized that she believes action is necessary to prevent what she sees as the expansion of Sharia law into American institutions.

“Let me be very clear, we will not allow Sharia to take root in our schools or our institutions,” she said.

“We will not allow it to erode the foundation of our civilization.”

She framed the issue as a broader test of leadership and resolve.

“This is a defining moment, a test of whether we have the will to defend what has been entrusted to us,” Miller said.

She added, “That is precisely what we are doing here today, exposing a dangerous ideology, and refusing to bow to the pressures of political correctness or intimidation.”

Miller warned that failure to address the issue would have long-term consequences. “If we fail to confront it now, it will not stop,” she said.

“It will continue to expand in an attempt to reshape our society into something unrecognizable, something fundamentally un American.”

She concluded by calling for unity and resolve among lawmakers.

“We will remain strong, sovereign and free responsibility begins here in this chamber,” Miller said.

“It requires the courage of every one of us to stand firm in defense of the principles that have made this country the greatest and most free nation on the earth.”

Miller also announced her support for a newly formed caucus focused on the issue.

“I am proud to join the Sharia Free America caucus, to stand alongside my colleagues,” she said, before expressing appreciation for the administration.

“Thanks to Donald Trump for restoring law order and security,” Miller added.
