Trump Unloads On ‘Disloyal’ Cornyn As Paxton Surges Toward Texas Runoff Victory [WATCH]

President Donald Trump set conservative circles ablaze over the weekend with a fiery denunciation of longtime Texas Senator John Cornyn, declaring him “VERY disloyal” and urging voters to rally behind Trump-endorsed Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton in Tuesday’s Republican Senate runoff.

The president’s statement ripped through the political landscape in Texas, energizing the MAGA base that increasingly views Cornyn as the embodiment of the out-of-touch establishment Republican.

Neither candidate managed to secure over 50 percent in the March primary, forcing this week’s decisive runoff.

But the momentum has clearly swung toward Paxton, who earned Trump’s formal endorsement just days ago after a period of neutrality.

Here’s What They’re Not Telling You About Your Retirement

That single move seems to have flipped the race on its head.

Fresh polling from SoCal Strategies conducted May 20 and 21 shows Paxton up by a commanding 21 points.

The numbers reveal what grassroots Texans have been saying for months: when Trump speaks, voters listen.

Cornyn’s dwindling support underscores that his years of cozying up to Washington elites are catching up with him fast.

Prediction markets add more pressure to Cornyn’s sinking campaign.

On Polymarket and Kalshi, Paxton dominates with more than a 90 percent chance of victory.

The writing is on the wall, and it is spelled M-A-G-A. Cornyn’s alliance with the old Republican guard appears to be collapsing under the weight of conservative discontent that Trump has now openly amplified.

Meanwhile, the Lone Star Liberty PAC, a group supporting Paxton, is wasting no time in preparing for the general election.

They’ve already launched a bruising new ad targeting Democrat James Talarico, who is expected to face Paxton in November.

The ad spares no punches, replaying clips of Talarico declaring “God is nonbinary,” theorizing about “six biological sexes,” and criticizing Texans for eating too much meat.

The spot continues with Talarico mocking the American flag, making racially charged and sexist remarks, embracing open borders, and proudly claiming he “loves trans children.”

The ad closes with Trump’s blunt description of Talarico: “The Democrats have a weird, a weird candidate.” The final line hits hard: “Low T Talarico, too weak for Texas.”

Trump’s latest statement hit multiple notes at once, praising Paxton, torching Cornyn, and reminding Texans exactly what Trump loyalty looks like.

Declaring Paxton “a GREAT Attorney General, probably the best in the Country,” Trump showered him with his trademark enthusiasm and gratitude for loyalty under pressure.

Cornyn, on the other hand, took a verbal battering.

Trump slammed him for being “VERY disloyal” as president, saying Cornyn failed to fight for what Trump described as the urgently needed SAVE AMERICA ACT.

The measure, which Trump detailed point by point, calls for voter ID, proof of citizenship, and an end to widespread mail-in ballots except for military or hardship exceptions.

“What more needs to be said???” Trump wrote, his statement echoing through conservative media spaces.

He added that Paxton will “NEVER LET YOU DOWN.”

For Trump supporters weary of career politicians who talk tough but fold on real reform, that line resonated deeply.

Trump also made sure to remind voters of his unbreakable bond with Texas.

“I LOVE Texas, and WON it all three times,” he said, pointing out that he earned the highest vote totals in the state’s history.

It was a subtle way of linking Paxton’s success to Trump’s own dominance in Texas politics.

In Trump’s estimation, loyalty is a one-way street only if you fail to walk it with him.

Paxton’s allies say Trump’s endorsement is not just a political moment but a turning point in Texas’ future.

“This is about MAGA continuing to take hold of the state that helped define the movement,” said one GOP strategist close to the Paxton campaign.

“Cornyn represents the swamp. Texas conservatives are done with that.”

Mainstream coverage has struggled to explain the tidal wave forming behind Paxton’s campaign, but among Texas conservatives, it feels natural.

Paxton stood by Trump when others jumped ship, and Trump’s voters have long memories. Add Cornyn’s history of compromise and you have the perfect formula for a grassroots revolt.

Behind every poll number lies the deeper reality that Republican voters are now defining the party around Trump’s America First vision.

Cornyn’s refusal to fight on election integrity and border security sealed his fate in a state weary of promises without results.

In a symbolic twist, Trump’s own words paint the picture: “Ken’s opponent was VERY disloyal to me.”

As Tuesday approaches, the contrast could not be sharper.

Paxton, the fighter and fiercely loyal Trump ally, versus Cornyn, the establishment incumbent now branded a RINO in bold letters.

Every sign points to a Paxton blowout that will once again prove Trump’s unmatched hold over the Republican base.

If the current trajectory holds, the Texas runoff may deliver more than a personal win for Paxton.

It could signal yet another chapter of MAGA reclaiming control of the GOP.

For Cornyn, it may mark the end of his time as a power broker, and the beginning of a historic realignment in one of the reddest states in America.
