They hate us; they really, really hate us.
Well, the feeling is mutual, Islamic terrorists.
After all, al-Shabaab is the Somali affiliate of al-Qaeda, which, last time I checked, is only liked in the US by the leftist Gen Z-ers who did those execrable “Osama bin Laden was right” videos. And Hasan Piker. And half the Muslims in the United States. And probably Graham Platner. And…
Well, you get the idea. MOST Americans don’t particularly care for al Qaeda, and don’t want al-Shabaab terrorists coming to the United States. Canadians wanted him to come, of course, but he decided to go back to Somalia to get that hero’s welcome.

Al-Shabaab, which surprisingly has letterhead, released a press release praising Omar Artan, trashing America and Donald Trump, and threw in yet another call for expelling the foreign invaders.
Thankfully, they did so in English. They may hate foreigners, but they are savvy enough to use the current Lingua Franca (take that, France!) of their true audience—Western media and Western socialists who want to “decolonize” the world.
The irony is thick, especially since they trash, of all things, the World Cup. Apparently, the Muslim youth of Somalia should be spending their time on important things like killing other Somalis, as is the national sport.
We do agree on one thing, though: America should have nothing to do with this “$h!thole country,” as President Trump so aptly put it.
Tell you what, al Shabaab: let’s do a deal. You guys stay inside Somalia and kill each other, and we’ll leave you alone. We’re even happy to send back the Somalis who are residing here, because we want to ensure that “foreigners” don’t mess with our politics either.
Of course, the problem is that “stay out of our land” only works in one direction. Since the Somali fraud exploded over here, the construction industry over there has boomed.
Shock. Our money is good enough to steal, I guess.
In any case, the Canadians apparently had second thoughts about Artan, so everybody except the professional whiners is happy.
