Newly released body camera footage shows a Seminole County Sheriff’s Office deputy responding to the scene of the fatal alligator attack that claimed the life of 31-year-old Brittany Clark in Central Florida last weekend, as reported by The New York Post.

The video captures the deputy running through dense brush before reaching the bank of the Econlockhatchee River, where Clark had been attacked while swimming with her boyfriend, Chance Allison, on Sunday.

When the deputy arrived at the shoreline, Clark and another individual, identified as Allison, were beneath a tarp as emergency responders worked to provide aid.

The footage shows the deputy removing a tourniquet from his equipment as first responders attempted to assist Clark before the recording ends.

Newly released bodycam footage has captured the desperate efforts of first responders to save 31-year-old Brittany Clark after she was fatally attacked by a 12-foot alligator while swimming in Florida’s Little Big Econ State Forest.

According to information released with the emergency response, a 911 caller reported that Clark had suffered severe injuries during the attack.

The 911 call has been released after 31-year-old Brittany Clark, who was bitten by an alligator in Florida on Sunday, died on her way to the #hospital.

Clark was transported for emergency medical treatment but died while being taken to the hospital.

The medical examiner determined that she died from “multiple blunt force injuries of the upper extremities.”

According to officials, Clark was swimming in approximately three feet of water in the Econlockhatchee River when the alligator attacked.

Authorities said the animal used what wildlife experts describe as a “death roll” during the incident.

Allison reportedly attempted to rescue Clark during the attack but was unable to save her.

Days after the tragedy, Allison shared a message on Facebook reflecting on the loss of his girlfriend.

“I’m just still in disbelief of what took place. We had so many things planned out and memories to be made,” Allison wrote alongside several photographs of the couple.

Clark was known as a bulldozer operator who enjoyed spending time outdoors. Friends and family also described her as someone who loved rave culture and cared deeply for her pets, Shady and Hokulani.

According to the medical examiner’s report, Clark still had what was described as a “thready” pulse when first responders reached her.

The incident remains under investigation by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

As part of that investigation, wildlife officers captured and euthanized two alligators measuring approximately 13 feet and 12.5 feet.

Officials have not publicly stated whether one or both animals were directly responsible for the attack, but authorities said the captures were conducted as part of the ongoing investigation.

The newly released body camera footage provides additional insight into the emergency response and the efforts made by law enforcement and first responders after receiving reports of the attack.

The tragedy has drawn widespread attention across Florida and beyond, prompting renewed discussion about safety around waterways inhabited by alligators during the summer months.

Authorities continue reviewing the circumstances surrounding the incident while the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission completes its investigation.

Officials have not announced any additional findings beyond those already released concerning the emergency response, the medical examiner’s report, and the capture of the two alligators connected to the investigation.
