Andy Reid has revealed the heartfelt message Adam Sandler shared with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as he officiated their wedding at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Kansas City Chiefs coach said the comedian’s advice to the newlyweds was both simple and touching, as reported by Page Six.

According to Reid, Sandler told the pair to “kiss every chance you get — every chance you have, every single day.” The actor’s words, he explained, resonated because of their simplicity and sincerity.

“He said kiss every chance you get — every chance you have, every single day,” Reid repeated in an interview with CNN. “So whether you’re going to bed or going to work … go ahead and kiss her.”

Reid admitted he found the message meaningful. “And I thought that was … in a simple way, in its simplest form, really, was touching that way,” he said.

The coach reiterated the advice later during a press conference on Sunday. “Hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss, or your wife gives you a kiss,” he said, referencing a video shared by reporter Krysyan Edler on X.

“Make sure you do it every day, every minute, if you have an opportunity to do it, knock it out, and you won’t have problems,” Reid added with a smile.

Reid also praised Sandler’s approach as a wedding officiant, calling him both hilarious and genuine.

“In a simply, hysterical way, he was a phenomenal … he’s crazy, but he did a great job in getting them married with a lot of humor, but that part there I thought, pretty good advice, in its simplest form,” he shared.

Sandler was joined at the ceremony by his two daughters, Sadie, 20, and Sunny, 17. The family has been longtime fans of Swift, having attended her Eras Tour concert in August 2023 and the “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” concert film premiere that October.

The connection between Sandler and Kelce extends beyond the ceremony. The actor cast the NFL star in his 2025 film “Happy Gilmore 2,” where Kelce made a comedic cameo.

In the movie, Kelce appeared in an apron while being covered in honey by Bad Bunny, who played Oscar, a restaurant worker under Sandler’s character, Happy Gilmore.

Sandler’s advice carried weight given his own long-lasting marriage. The “Saturday Night Live” alumnus has been married to his wife, Jackie, for 23 years, since their wedding in June 2003.

Sources close to the ceremony said Swift and Kelce also exchanged lengthy, personalized vows during their Madison Square Garden celebration. “Their vows were about 20 minutes each,” an insider told People, adding that the couple wrote them in gold booklets.

Guests were even given embroidered handkerchiefs in case the emotion of the moment became too much. It was a fitting touch for what attendees described as a heartfelt and laughter-filled wedding led by one of Hollywood’s most beloved comedians.
