The Trump administration is charging forward with its America First food policy, expanding the Product of USA label to a new group of meat and poultry producers.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins confirmed on Friday that ten additional companies will now carry the label, a key part of President Donald Trump’s ongoing effort to back American farmers and ranchers while clearing up the deceptive labeling standards that thrived under past administrations.

This move is part of the larger MAHA initiative, Make America Healthy Again, which focuses on bringing real food back to American tables.

Rollins told Fox News Digital that the change gives shoppers peace of mind, ensuring that when they see Product of USA, it truly means born, raised, and processed right here in the United States.

Here’s What They’re Not Telling You About Your Retirement

“This label gives consumers confidence that the meat, poultry, and egg products they purchase come from animals born, raised, harvested, and processed right here in the United States,” Rollins explained.

The Product of USA label means EXACTLY what it says.

Born.
Raised.
Harvested.
Processed. All in the United States. The standard is clear. If your products meet this standard, join the Product of USA movement and learn how to use the label at ➡️ https://t.co/6NB0l1cGhW pic.twitter.com/idi3HkHhI4— Secretary Brooke Rollins (@SecRollins) July 10, 2026

She praised President Trump for insisting that American families know exactly what they are getting when they buy American products.

For years, imported meat could be labeled as “U.S. made” even if it was shipped in from another country and simply packaged here.

That loophole flooded the market with misleading claims and gave foreign producers an unfair edge against American ranchers.

The updated USDA standards, finalized in 2024, cleaned house and made sure that “Product of USA” actually means what it says.

Now, companies such as Harris Ranch and One World Beef in California, Fort Worth Meat Packers in Texas, and Agri Beef in Idaho will carry the label with pride.

Other participants include American Foods Group, Upper Iowa Beef, Wholestone Farms, Hadrick Farms in South Dakota, FPL Food in Georgia, and Harrison’s Poultry in Illinois.

Proud to welcome these 10 companies to @USDA’s growing Product of USA initiative:

Juan Ramos, founder and CEO of Fort Worth Meats, said the origin of food “should never be a mystery.”

He emphasized that Americans deserve honest labels and producers deserve credit for what they build with their own hands and their own land.

“Consumers deserve labels they can trust, U.S. producers deserve recognition for what they produce, and every meat product should be represented honestly for what it is,” Ramos stated.

Eric Brandt, president of One World Beef, thanked the USDA for taking a real stance on transparency.

He praised the agency for preserving the future of independent ranching for generations to come.

These smaller producers often struggle to compete against mega processors and cheap foreign imports, making Trump’s policy shift both patriotic and practical.

Brooke Rollins said the label expansion would help strengthen domestic food production, noting that USDA will work every day to ensure American agriculture stays the strongest in the world.

Rollins has made restoring trust in the food system one of her key missions, pushing for dietary reforms that focus on natural foods, fewer additives, and the revitalization of rural economies.

Kyle Zimmerman, co-president of Harrisons Poultry, called the change a “responsibility behind every label.”

He added that honest branding not only honors the hard work of the producers but also respects the intelligence of American consumers who want to know what they are feeding their families.

“Working from pasture to package gives us a unique appreciation for what every label means,” Zimmerman said.

The announcement did not stop at labeling reform.

The administration also rolled out a new initiative known as the Strengthening Processing for U.S. Ranchers Program.

That effort will provide up to $500 million in federal support to help small and medium meat processors expand their domestic operations.

The funds will help modernize facilities, boost local economies, and challenge the corporate monopolies that have dominated beef processing for decades.

To qualify, companies must be U.S.-owned and under federal inspection while not holding a dominant position in the beef processing industry.

This ensures the funds are supporting local and family-run operations instead of multinationals with deep political connections.

It is another example of Trump’s team putting America’s small businesses ahead of global corporations.

Critics might say the USDA is favoring nationalism over free trade, but the reality is far simpler.

American cattle ranchers have spent years working under unfair conditions created by global trade deals that rewarded cheap imports and punished domestic producers.

The Product of USA expansion is long overdue accountability in food labeling, something past administrations conveniently ignored.

Trump’s push for food sovereignty also ties into his larger vision for a stronger, healthier, self-reliant America.

From energy dominance to manufacturing comeback, the message remains consistent: America can feed, fuel, and build for itself without relying on foreign powers. The Product of USA label is more than just a sticker.

It is a symbol of patriotism, trust, and economic renewal.

As this initiative gains momentum, shoppers can expect to see more red, white, and blue labels filling grocery store aisles.

For the forgotten ranchers of America’s heartland, it is proof that their government finally has their back.

For consumers tired of guessing whether their steak came from Texas or Thailand, it is a welcome dose of transparency sealed with a star-spangled promise.

The Trump administration’s approach to food security makes one thing absolutely clear.

When the President talks about putting America first, he means every American, right down to the family farm.
