Kamala Harris Looking at Round Two, This Time With More Anti-Gun Rhetoric

In 2024, Kamala Harris stepped in to run for president despite a lifetime presidential campaign record of winning exactly as many electoral votes as I’ve won — zero, for those keeping score at home — and tried to blunt attacks against her Second Amendment record by claiming that she’s a gun owner, too, so how could she be in favor of gun bans?

Then pushed bans on certain popular guns.

As bad as her gun rights position was, though, it looks like she’s got an eye on 2028, and this time, expect something even worse from the former vice president.

But Democrats are salivating at the chance to retake the Oval Office. That would likely mean picking up the torch on an antigun activist agenda right where former President Joe Biden left off, stomping on rights and suffocating the lawful and highly regulated firearm industry that provides law-abiding Americans the ability to exercise their Second Amendment rights.

Twenty-six months out, former Vice President Kamala Harris is in the pole position according to some *very early* polls with an inside track to the nomination. She’s got the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA)-inspired agenda to go with it, including hostile and severe gun control schemes once again.

There is no question about where the former vice president and apparent early 2028 Democratic presidential contender stands on Second Amendment rights. She wants to do away with them.

How She’d Do It

If there’s any question from skeptical voters who might think there’s no way former Vice President Kamala Harris would carry out her extreme gun control agenda, you don’t have to wonder. She told us exactly how she’ll do it.

Speaking at a conference in Nashville just two weeks ago, former Vice President Harris called for expanding and packing of the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as granting statehood (and two U.S. Senators each) to Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. She also proclaimed that the Electoral College needed “revising” — code speak for supporting direct popular vote for the U.S. presidency.

“We must allow for a real conversation about revisiting certain things,” the former vice president told an audience, according to Fox News. “I know this is gonna be controversial coming from me, in particular. We need to revisit the Electoral College. We need to revisit the point of expanding the court to 13 justices…”

We all know that the idea of expanding the court only happens when Democrats don’t get their way. It’s what happened during FDR’s time in the Oval Office, and it seems nothing has changed. They’re not getting the rulings they want, so the only option is to wreck the system until they do.

Plus, getting rid of the Electoral College is nothing more than making sure the major cities are the ones deciding for the rest of the country, despite a long and storied history of looking down their noses at rural America. 

In short, they want to make it so there’s zero way for anyone but Democrats to win, especially since we know that both Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. will be blue “states” if granted statehood.

Everything she’s proposing here is geared toward gaining and maintaining control of the country for Democrats, and they know good and well that gun control simply has to be part of that, because it’s clear what’s happening and there’s no way Americans are going to stand for it indefinitely.

And with this radical agenda, they’ll be able to get it sooner or later.

Meanwhile, Harris is making a very good case for no one voting Democrat ever again, since this isn’t about the will of the people, but power and control.

The very thing the Second Amendment is intended to prevent.

If there’s an upside, it’s that Kamala Harris didn’t lose because she came into the race late. She lost because she was a terrible candidate that no one wanted anywhere near the nuclear launch codes.

Hell, I’m still convinced that the only reason she was Biden’s running mate was so that no one would try to push the issue of removing POTATUS from office when she’s who was waiting in the wings.
