The family had enjoyed a glamorous lunch at the exclusive La Scogliera restaurant in La Maddalena before boarding their tender. They then headed out for a quick swim during the sun-soaked afternoon.

Photos showed Nader relaxing aboard the tender and chatting with relatives during the Italian escape. Other images captured the model soaking up the Mediterranean sunshine and swimming as her family remained nearby.

Supporters argued that going topless was hardly shocking on a European beach. For those defending Nader, the location appeared to make her decision seem far less controversial than some critics suggested.
