‘This Is a Struggle for the Survival of America. It’s That Serious. It’s That Real’: Stephen Miller [WATCH]

White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller argued that the nation’s political debate has evolved beyond traditional policy disagreements and now centers on what he described as a struggle over the future and survival of the United States.

Speaking during a recent interview, Miller said he believes the country is facing an unprecedented political moment.

“This is a struggle for the survival of America. It’s that serious. It’s that real.”

Miller said he believes a series of policy proposals advanced by political opponents would significantly weaken the country if enacted.

“What you talked about: abolishing police, abolishing borders, abolishing ICE, abolishing fossil fuels, gutting the Department of War. these actions collectively would bring America to its knees.”

According to Miller, those policies would have sweeping consequences for the nation.

“It would cripple us. It would crush us. It would destroy everything 250 years of patriots fought, bled, and died for.”

He contrasted those proposals with what he described as President Donald Trump’s policy agenda.

“The people at home, everything that makes your life better, Donald Trump is delivering on and fighting for.”

Miller then listed several accomplishments and priorities that he attributed to the Trump administration.

“Record tax relief, zero illegal immigration, the largest reduction in murder since 1900, the lowest violent crime rates that have ever been recorded.”

He also highlighted tax proposals and national security initiatives.

“No tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, no tax on overtime, rebuilding the military, taking the fight to the drug cartels to keep fentanyl from killing our families and our children, issue after issue.”

According to Miller, those policies are designed to improve the lives of American families and strengthen the country.

“President Trump is fighting for our families.”

Miller then contrasted that vision with what he said political opponents are seeking to accomplish.

“And what do they want to do? They want to hand over our nation to illegal aliens, criminals, jihadists, and communists.”

He argued that the current political environment differs significantly from earlier debates that focused primarily on tax policy or other economic issues.

“This isn’t the old debates we used to have 20, 30 years ago, Sean, where we’re saying, Oh, do you want taxes at 30% or 33%?”

Instead, Miller said he believes the country is confronting a much broader ideological conflict.

“This is a debate between people who fundamentally hate America, hate Americans, and want to sell this country to their friends for scraps.”

He emphasized that, in his view, the stakes are unusually high.

“That’s how real this is.”

Miller also criticized political candidates who, he said, seek support from individuals whose views he finds objectionable.

“When you nominate candidates who say that they want the endorsement of individuals who support 9/11, this is a party that is fundamentally committed to the destruction of America at a basic, basic level.”

Throughout his remarks, Miller argued that issues such as border security, law enforcement, military readiness, energy production and immigration policy should be viewed together as part of a broader debate over the nation’s future.

He maintained that the Trump administration’s agenda is focused on tax relief, reducing illegal immigration, strengthening public safety and combating drug cartels, while contending that competing policy proposals would weaken the country’s institutions and security.
