I’ve written a fair amount on the efflorescence of antisemitism in the West. For the most part, it’s political expression has been limited to the Left, but apparently we are starting to see the neo-Nazis testing the waters on the right.
A friend of mine sent me a disturbing video put out by, I certainly hope, a long-shot challenger to Congressman Randy Fine. While the man is a long shot in the race, he apparently is a phenom on social media. Luckily, he and I don’t overlap in our social media circles, so I remained blissfully unaware of his existence. But that is not true for his 2 MILLION followers.
Congressman Fine went to the extraordinary length of sharing the video because it is so vile that no person who could possibly vote for him would be persuaded by it. And I can understand why.
It is unheard of to share an opponents television commercial.
But I want you to watch it.

And if this appeals to you, I don’t want your vote.
We have a choice on Tuesday, to embrace the kind of Nazism that led to the Holocaust or to repudiate this filth and reaffirm American values and character.
Let’s send a resounding message on Tuesday.
This guy, Dan Bilzarian, has made his living for over a decade as an internet personality, apparently sharing an audience or at least an attitude, with Andrew Tate, another internet slimeball.
He’s the complete package of scummy lifestyle, scummy business practices, and exploitative politics. He’s basically a buff groyper, and apparently one of the originals.
As with Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes, he has become an anti-MAGA activist who is still classified as a “conservative” because he is on the opposite end of the political horseshoe from the hyper-woke socialists. Opposing Fine is a natural place for Bilzarian, as Fine is a Jew who admires Trump, and apparently the admiration is mutual.

My expectation is that Fine should win handily; there is no indication that mainstream Republicans have much tolerance for the kind of vile antisemitism that has become common among Democrats, who seem fine with looking away from the moral rot taking over their party.

Dan Bilzerian is running for Congress in Florida and has released a video attacking his Jewish opponent, @VoteRandyFine, with some of the most disgusting antisemitic tropes: Shylock, the greedy and filthy Jew, Jewish bloodlust, Jews as satanic.
Every Republican should be disgusted to see this anywhere near their party and condemn it in absolute terms.
Fine is facing several challengers in the race, and being utterly unfamiliar with the politics of the area, I can’t say whether, in the abstract, he is a great candidate or not. He’s in Mike Waltz’s seat, having won it after Walz left to work in the Trump administration. He is well known for his disdain for Islam and is a proud Zionist, opening him up to attacks from the Islamo-friendly extremists.
For all I know, Fine could be a tremendous congressman or mediocre, but that is hardly the point; what matters in this race is taking a stand against the rise of neo-Nazism on the “Right.” If a candidate can get a significant number of votes based on a campaign that amounts to “vote out the Jew and vote in the Nazi,” we are lost.
One party in our country has surrendered to the antisemitic left; the Republicans must crush the antisemitic right.
It’s hard to imagine that this should be a difficult task, but God help us if it turns out to be one.
