What if I were to tell you that every single United States President, except one, are all related to each other?
This is what was revealed on a Special Episode of Secret America, called “It’s All Connected”.
Forget Republican versus Democrat. Forget conservative versus liberal. Follow the bloodline and you’ll find that nearly every American president ends up connected to the same ancestor:
King John “Lackland” of England.

From George Washington to Abraham Lincoln, Barack Obama to Donald Trump. All have the same blood running through their veins.
The one famous exception?
Martin Van Buren.
The connection was uncovered in a genealogy project by BridgeAnne d’Avignon, who traced presidential ancestry through both paternal and maternal family lines. Her research concluded that 42 of the 43 presidents she examined could be traced back to King John, who ruled England more than 800 years ago.

Even presidents portrayed as political opposites turn out to be distant relatives. Donald Trump and Barack Obama, for example, have been identified in genealogical research as distant cousins through shared ancestry.
And they’re far from the only ones.
The deeper you travel into presidential genealogy, the more connections appear.
Think about what we’re supposed to believe.
America was founded by overthrowing a monarchy. We rejected kings, royal families and inherited rule. Americans would choose their leaders.
Yet generation after generation, the people reaching America’s highest office keep appearing somewhere inside the same ancestral network, with the genealogy leading back to an actual King of England.
We’re supposed to believe that’s just coincidence?
ONE CHANCE IN 96 QUINTILLION?
The calculation that Secret America showed live on their show, about this presidential bloodline, puts the odds of virtually every president sharing this ancestry and reaching the presidency purely by chance at:
1 in 96,000,000,000,000,000,000.
That’s one chance in 96 quintillion.
It’s an eye-popping number. For comparison, there are 100 billion stars in our Milky Way Galaxy. That means the odds that were calculated in relation to the Presidents’ are about 960 MILLION times the number of stars.
And maybe that’s exactly why the genealogy itself deserves attention.
We’re repeatedly told not to look too closely at connections involving powerful people.
It’s coincidence.
It’s meaningless.
Everyone is probably related if you go back far enough.
Move along.
But when nearly every person to occupy the most powerful office on Earth can be traced into the same family tree, perhaps “coincidence” isn’t the end of the conversation.
Perhaps it’s the beginning.
WHY MARTIN VAN BUREN?
Then there’s Martin Van Buren.
If everyone were connected, skeptics could simply dismiss the entire thing by saying everyone eventually shares ancestors.
But according to the famous presidential genealogy, one president didn’t.
Van Buren.
Why? How did he become President if no one else outside the bloodline could?
In 1837, Martin Van Buren ran as the Democratic candidate for President. The newly formed Whig party (Republican party did not exist yet), ran 6 regional candidates rather than a national one.
That is why he won. However, the bloodline would never allow it again. He was ousted after his first term, and it’s been the same bloodline since him as it was before him.
So out of this remarkable pattern spanning more than two centuries, one man stands outside it.
Everyone else examined?
Connected.
BLOODLINES DON’T CARE ABOUT POLITICAL PARTIES
Maybe that’s the biggest lesson.
Americans spend enormous amounts of energy fighting over Republican versus Democrat.
But blood doesn’t have a political party.
Obama and Trump can be political opposites and still be distant relatives.
Presidents separated by centuries can still share ancestors.
Families that appear unrelated today can converge when their histories are traced backward.
The faces change.
The parties change.
The campaign slogans change.
But the family tree keeps going.
And eventually, nearly every presidential branch arrives at the same place:
King John Lackland.
Secret America exposing this on their episode “It’s All Connected,” has made everyone wonder if this is the biggest conspiracy in world history.

Perhaps we’ve spent too much time looking at America’s presidents individually.
Put them all on the same family tree and suddenly the picture looks very different.
One king.
Nearly every president.
Hundreds of years of history.
And one extraordinary exception.
Martin Van Buren.
You can call it coincidence.
You can call it statistical inevitability.
But when the same bloodlines keep appearing at the highest levels of power, there’s another possibility worth considering:
Maybe it was never as random as we were told.
