I don’t know what to ascribe this to. Perhaps a reluctance on the part of authorities in order to obscure the breadth of the problem they’ve imported, or maybe just lousy record-keeping in general, but it’s not often you get a granular dive into the various ethnicities that have been dumped into one of the European Union member states.
As the 2024 statistics are shaping up, there could be a reason for that.

In tiny little Switzerland, they’ve experienced a rude shock as the numbers validate what people have been experiencing in their daily lives. The demographic there with the worst reputation for troublemaking is not the Syrians and Afghans of German infamy, but North Africans, much as you see overrunning the Spanish enclave of Ceuta recently.
Their crime rate blows the doors off of all other groups, and these figures aren’t anecdotal. They are coming from the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration (SEM).

That’s a wowsahs, and it’s no wonder that the Swiss are now rejecting North African asylum claims nearly out of hand – they have a 99 percent rejection rate.
Overall, the other groups represented in the Swiss immigration mix have much lower collective offense rate as a whole. The folks from North Africa are overachievers by a wide margin.
…For asylum seekers as a whole, the rate of criminality is much lower, with only 12.5 percent having been accused of one or more offenses. Nationals from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia are therefore extremely overrepresented compared to other asylum seeker groups.
The Swiss have had a plan since 2024 to facilitate removing these people, but as with all good intentions in Europe, it’s the follow-through that’s the problem. Anything and everything can delay or sidetrack the process.
…In 2024, a “24-hour” rule was introduced for accelerated asylum procedures for North African countries, which enables Swiss authorities to process asylum claims with a low chance of success more quickly. Applicants can still appeal the decisions, which can significantly increase delay in reaching a final decision.
“Criminals must leave Switzerland quickly. This is a priority of the asylum strategy,” said SEM spokesperson Daniel Bach.
However, the process is often delayed by the actions of asylum seekers, including refusing to provide fingerprints and failing to show up for deportation appointments.
Sounds like our all-too-familiar version of being turned loose with an immigration court date a year down the road in hand.
The 24-hour rule turned into nearly that many days in the best-case scenario for deportations.
But at least someone has finally had that all-important, ‘Houson, we have a problem’ moment. Even members of the uber liberal and ever-immigration-friendly Green Party think the North Africans might just be gaming the Swiss system.
…Jans introduced a 24-hour procedure for North African applicants in 2024 to clear hopeless cases quickly. The SEM said the process in fact took an average of 22 days.
Removal is harder still, with the agency telling NZZ am Sonntag that about 90 per cent of North African applicants arrived without identity papers, which blocks the issuing of travel documents.
A federal and cantonal task force on repeat offenders, launched in June 2025, tracked 87 people. After six months 36 had either left the country or disappeared, and a final report is due in late autumn.
Council of States member Damian Müller of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) said a rate on that scale could no longer be dismissed as isolated cases and amounted to a serious security problem. Fellow Council of States member Tiana Moser of the Green Liberal Party said many young Maghreb men came to Switzerland knowing the legal system would treat them leniently.
You don’t say.
What’s also kind of interesting in the deeper data is that the women from these cultures are actually more violent than Swiss men, so it’s not just the males of the species as far as the crime rates go.
Those females are feisty chicas in their own right.
‘Put a stop to immigration from Stone Age cultures’ – New data shows foreign women commit domestic violence at a higher rate than Swiss men
New statistical data has highlighted the prevalence of domestic violence across different population groups in Switzerland, sparking a political debate over its root causes. SVP National Councillor Pascal Schmid argues that the figures identify this primarily as a migration problem, noting that even foreign women are accused of these offenses more frequently than Swiss men.
Schmid requested data from the Federal Council, which provided an analysis of domestic violence frequency broken down by gender and nationality. The results show that for every 10,000 foreign men in the permanent resident population, 33.3 were accused of domestic violence in 2024, compared to 12.6 for Swiss men. For women, the rate was 13.2 for foreign women and 4.4 for Swiss women.
The data shows that foreign women are accused of domestic violence at slightly higher rates than Swiss men, however, foreign men clearly dominate in this category of crime overall, according to Blick.
That’s astonishing from our viewpoint, but when you’re raised in an inherently violent society, I guess it’s not at all when looked at from theirs.
The issue is: does our Western culture and lifestyle have to accept, embrace, and respect theirs as opposed to them assimilating to ours?
The answer is, arguably, no.
These findings parallel what the Germans have been experiencing with their knifey Middle Eastern immigrants.
…In response to the latest Swiss data, Schmit wrote: “Domestic violence is not simply a problem solely affecting men, but primarily a migration problem.”
This data comes after similar findings in Germany showed that women from certain foreign groups in 2024 were more violent than German men. The data showed that for 100,000 German men, 272 were suspected of a violent offense. For Syrian women, this figure per 100,000 was 336. Clearly, Syrian women were more violent than German men. Afghan women are also more violent, with a rate of 359, even more violent than Syrian women. Iraqi women have an incredible rate of 394, which is considerably more than that of German men.
Naturally, anyone who advocates for sending these Neanderthalish adherents to fists and knives first back to their Stone Age homes is considered ‘insensitive.’
That’s the wrong approach, say the immigrant advocates. Perhaps a solution as simple as more room for stabby-types to live in would solve the world’s knife problems.

…“We have to put a stop to immigration from Stone Age cultures that have a completely different relationship with women and don’t know the concept of equality,” he added.
The SVP is now demanding an expansion of offenses that trigger mandatory deportation to include all official domestic violence offenses. Schmid argues, “We have to crack down harder on perpetrators,” adding that “simply distributing flyers in 20 languages and employing even more social workers won’t achieve anything.”
Funiciello maintains that the SVP is avoiding the real issues, stating, “The SVP is once again shifting responsibility onto a group instead of rethinking its own role models and seeking solutions for society as a whole.”
So far, despite everything, the bleeding hearts are still winning. A voter referendum to cap the Swiss population at 10 million narrowly failed to pass in mid-June of this year. The non-governmental organization rich Swiss cities overpowered the votes coming in from everywhere else.
…The number of people living in Switzerland has soared by nearly one-quarter over the last generation, and foreigners today make up nearly one-third of the population.
Critics say the boom in migration has brought foreign labor and skills to sectors such as healthcare, finance, pharmaceuticals, and technology.
The right-wing party put forward the “sustainability initiative” measure, saying Swiss infrastructure, housing, social programs, natural resources and way of life have been strained by the spike in demographic growth.
The federal government, Parliament and EconomieSuisse, a major business association, oppose the idea.
In Geneva, Switzerland’s second-largest city and a hub of U.N. institutions and humanitarian groups, early results showed about two-thirds of voters in the region opposed the measure.
