Lindsay Clancy’s Husband Reveals Heartbreaking Posthumous Pleas to His Children [WATCH]

Patrick Clancy has revealed that he still speaks to his three deceased children, asking them to help him endure the pain of losing them.

The deeply personal disclosure came in a clip from his first interview since the mistrial of his former wife, Lindsay Clancy.

“I talk to them,” Patrick told CBS correspondent Ross Douthat in the clip airing Thursday. When Douthat asked what he says to his children, Patrick answered: “‘Help me.’ All the time.”

Lindsay Clancy, now 36, admitted that she strangled the couple’s three children in the basement of their Duxbury, Massachusetts, home in January 2023.

The children were Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and eight-month-old Callan.

The former delivery nurse faced a murder trial that drew intense attention across the country.

That trial ended with an eleven-to-one hung jury after a single holdout declined to vote for her acquittal.

Lindsay’s lawyers did not dispute that she killed the children.

Instead, they argued that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and therefore could not be held accountable for her actions.

Jurors deliberated for more than 38 hours across seven days before concluding they could not reach a verdict.

They then notified Plymouth Judge William Sullivan that their deliberations had failed to produce the required agreement.

Patrick, 38, remained stoic when he took the witness stand during the closely watched proceedings.

His testimony described Lindsay as a loving mother before the deaths of their children.

He recalled that she would “make up songs” with the children and prepare special meals for them, including green eggs and ham.

Those memories offered a painful glimpse of family life before the three children were killed.

Since the trial began, Patrick has faced what his lawyer described as a relentless campaign of threats and misinformation.

Patrick remarried in April and now lives in New York, but the attacks surrounding the case have continued.

His lawyer, Howard Cooper, said Patrick and his family have been targeted by people spreading claims that Patrick was involved in the children’s deaths.

Cooper sharply condemned the campaign and the people promoting it through social media.

“Over the past months, Patrick Clancy and his family have been subjected to a relentless, escalating and destructive defamation campaign,” Cooper told Boston 25 News.

His statement portrayed the attacks as an escalating effort built around false accusations and personal destruction.

“This campaign of misinformation has been launched and promoted by minor celebrities, so-called influencers and outright conspiracy theorists who appear intent on boosting their own social media profiles and potential profit by publishing what they know to be outright falsehoods that Patrick was somehow involved in the death of his young children and other vile claims.”

Cooper also left open the possibility that legal action could be pursued against those responsible for spreading the accusations.

No specific legal proceeding against those people was identified, but the warning made clear that the family’s lawyer was not dismissing the campaign as harmless internet chatter.

Patrick’s interview now puts his grief in his own words after the wrenching trial and the public storm surrounding it.

His answer about speaking to Cora, Dawson, and Callan was brief, but it exposed the burden he continues to carry.

The interview clip is scheduled to air Thursday, with the full conversation set to be broadcast Sunday night on “60 Minutes.”

It marks Patrick’s first interview since the mistrial and gives him a public opportunity to speak about his children, the loss, and the pain that remains.
