2A Freedom Fest Returning to Summerville, FL in February

What do you have going on the weekend of February 21st next year?

If the answer is, “Not a thing,” or some variation thereof, I hope you’ll consider making your way to Summerfield, Florida, for one of the fastest-growing Second Amendment annual events in the country, 2A Freedom Fest.

You might be wondering why that name sounds familiar. If so, it’s because I mentioned it earlier this year, just a few weeks before the event. However, that didn’t really let a lot of people plan their trips in time, so we’re bringing it up a bit earlier this time around.

I will, of course, be there. It’s just too close to home for me to skip out on, and this is my second year as a speaker at the event, which I’m looking forward to.

Joining me up there on the stage will be people like Jerah Turner of Clearing The Chamber; NRA Board member, and host of Eye on the Target Radio, Amanda Suffecool; Arms Room Radio host Mike Piwowarski; Anthony Collandro, the  Host of “Gun For Hire Radio” and another NRA board member; and Tony Simon, the founder of the 2nd is for Everyone, among others.

In addition, there will be vendors set up to sell all kinds of things. The only requirement is that the company in question has to support the right to keep and bear arms, which means you’ll likely see everything from ammunition and body armor to tumblers and snacks.

To call it “eclectic” is to put it mildly, but it’s also important.

As you all know, the Second Amendment is always under assault. Even with a Second Amendment-friendly president in the Oval Office, our rights are far from safe. State lawmakers across the nation continue to attack our rights, and the media does everything it can to make us all feel isolated, as if we’re the only real people in the world who believe in our gun rights.

2A Freedom Fest is an opportunity to get out and meet others who value our Second Amendment rights, to connect with others who may live near you or who live on the other side of the country. Connections like this are absolutely vital to maintaining our sanity, but it’s also a good opportunity to connect with other advocates for gun rights and discuss what has worked in their area of operations and what hasn’t. 

While much of that can be done online, man was never meant to live behind a computer screen. We’re social beings who need to interact with other people from time to time, though how much of that we need may be a more individual matter.

I sincerely hope that you all will join us this coming February. I’ve been going since 2021 and have thoroughly enjoyed myself each year. I’ve made a lot of good friends in the Second Amendment space from meeting folks there, and I would love for you to be one of them.
