Did the Case Against Charlie Kirk’s Alleged Killer Just Fall Apart?

Short answer: No.

The Daily Mail breathlessly reported on Monday evening that a new court filing by Tyler Robinson’s defense team claims the “bullet used to kill Charlie Kirk did NOT match rifle allegedly used” by Robinson. That, in turn, has prompted a flurry of posts from those who believe that Robinson is a patsy, and that Kirk’s “real” killer (or killers) are still at large.

If I understand Candace Owens’ theory correctly, Kirk was killed as part of a Freemason conspiracy connected to the French and Israeli government, perhaps directed by Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, who isn’t a biological female but was born and raised as a man. Owens and others have pointed to the Daily Mail story as evidence that Robinson didn’t murder Kirk, but there’s just one problem with their theory.

Okay, there are a lot of problems with their theory, but there’s one glaring issue regarding the bullet that couldn’t be traced to Robinson’s gun. It can’t be traced to any firearm because of the shape that it’s in.

On September 25 Candance said her source told her, in her own words, that the “bullet was too fragmented to match Tyler’s rifle”.

And yet here we are watching her take a second hit off the same bong because that’s what gives her the attention she so desperately craves.

It is not uncommon for a bullet to be so fragmented or misshapen that a ballistics match is impossible, and honestly, ballistic matching is more of an art than a science anyway.

In the actual story, the Daily Mail reported that Robinson’s defense team submitted a brief alleging that the ATF “‘was unable to identify the bullet recovered at autopsy to the rifle allegedly tied to Mr Robinson.” That does not mean that the ATF concluded that the bullet wasn’t fired from Robinson’s rifle, only that they could not conclusively determine that it was.

There is, however, still a copious amount of evidence pointing to Robinson being Kirk’s killer, including text messages sent by Robinson in which he admits to the crime. As the Daily Mail also reported in the same story:

In a text exchange between Tyler Robinson and his roommate and partner, Lance Twiggs, the alleged killer claimed the rifle was the only evidence he left behind, court documents show.

‘If I am able to grab my rifle unseen, I will have left no evidence. Going to attempt to retrieve it again, hopefully they have moved on,’ he allegedly wrote. ‘I haven’t seen anything about them finding it.’

Robinson also reportedly wrote about planning to get the weapon from his ‘drop point,’ but that the area was ‘locked down.’

‘I’m wishing I had circled back and grabbed it as soon as I got to my vehicle,’ he continued.

‘I’m worried what my old man would do if I didn’t bring back grandpas rifle… idek [I don’t even know] if it had a serial number, but it wouldn’t trace to me. I worry about prints I had to leave it in a bush where I changed outfits. didn’t have the ability or time to bring it with.’

… Robinson signed off the fateful text exchange by warning his partner Lance Twiggs to delete their messages, and said his father was trying to call him about his grandfather’s rifle.

He ultimately allegedly confessed to committing the murder to his father, who then contacted authorities and secured his son before he could be taken into custody.

Maybe Tyler Robinson’s dad is a freemason or part of Israeli intelligence embedded in Utah for the last few decades, just waiting for the moment where he could pin an assassination on his unwitting offspring.

Or maybe, just maybe, the Daily Mail editors wrote this headline knowing that it would be irresistible for the conspiracy theorists, even if the truth isn’t nearly as electrifying.

Is it possible that Tyler Robinson had nothing to do with Charlie Kirk’s murder? I suppose so, but it doesn’t look good for him. Still, legally he’s considered innocent until proven guilty, and prosecutors haven’t had the chance to do so yet. If you want to keep an open mind, good for you. If, on the other hand, you’re absolutely convinced that Kirk’s death was the result of a French/Israeli/Freemason conspiracy that was just blown wide open by the Daily Mail’s recent reporting, it’s time to unplug from the Internet and touch some grass.
