Vice President JD Vance took the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Thursday morning, delivering a powerhouse address that set the tone for the Trump administration’s agenda, as reported by Fox News.

Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd at National Harbor, Maryland, Vance outlined the administration’s top priorities: securing the border, reclaiming American energy dominance, and putting an end to Washington’s reckless spending spree.

Vance wasted no time in driving home the administration’s mission, declaring that President Trump’s “fundamental goal” is to restore “safety and prosperity” to the American people.

He emphasized the need for decisive action, saying, “It is easy, unfortunately, to burn the house down. It takes a little bit of time to build it back up and that’s what we have to do.”

Fresh off his fiery speech to European leaders in Munich, Vance highlighted the historic mandate the administration has to crack down on illegal immigration and safeguard national sovereignty.

“We have to secure the southern border, and thanks to [Trump’s] actions, border crossings are down well over 90% and we’re just getting started.”

The administration’s move to designate notorious migrant criminal organizations like Tren de Aragua and MS-13 as foreign terrorist groups was another step in the right direction, according to Vance.

“Get the hell out of our country because your free ride is over… you’re not welcome.”

Turning to energy policy, Vance stressed Trump’s commitment to unleashing the full potential of American resources.

“We’ve got to get back to having a growing economy that creates good jobs and high wages for the American people, and a lot of that goes back to ‘drill, baby, drill.”

He drew thunderous cheers from the audience.

With Trump back in the White House, the war on American energy is over, and the days of coddling radical climate activists at the expense of hard-working Americans are done.But Vance didn’t stop there. He torched the Biden administration’s reckless spending, exposing its absurd use of taxpayer dollars.

“Why are we spending money on progressive, modern art projects centered around toilets in Afghanistan? That’s actually something that your tax dollars were funding until very recently. And I think all of us are sitting around and asking, ‘What the hell are we doing with the American people’s money for the last four years?’”

Vance made it clear that the administration’s policies are rooted in one central purpose: ensuring a better future for American families.

“The fundamental goal of our immigration policy, our border policy, and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) saving taxpayer money is simple. We want your children and grandchildren to be able to raise a family in security and comfort in the country that we all love.”

The crowd erupted in a standing ovation as the conversation turned to his Munich speech, where he urged European leaders to follow Trump’s example in securing their borders and defending free speech.

“We cannot rebuild Western civilization; we cannot rebuild the United States of America or Europe by letting millions and millions of unvetted illegal migrants come into our country. It has to stop. Thank God it stopped here. But it’s got to stop there.”

Vance didn’t hold back on his criticism of the previous administration, holding Biden responsible for enabling censorship and mass migration policies that weakened both America and Europe.

“The Biden administration did more to destroy free speech, not just in the United States, but also in Europe, than any administration in American history. I’m not even blaming the Europeans. I’m actually saying you followed the lead of Joe Biden into censorship and mass migration. Follow the lead of Donald J. Trump and that’s free speech, borders, and sovereignty. That is the future for our shared civilization.”
