A Look Inside the Twisted Mind of a Lefty Law Enforcement Officer

In North Carolina, as in most places, Sheriffs are elected. 

So I suppose it shouldn’t surprise me that in a place like Charlotte, the Sheriff would be a liberal nutcase. Yet it still does, even though my own Sheriff is a liberal nutcase. It just seems wrong, somehow, to have law enforcement officials who are allergic to catching and punishing criminals. 

While Florida Sheriffs warn looters that they are likely to get shot by citizens defending their property, Sheriffs in liberal areas apologize to violent criminals and complain that citizens get upset when violent criminals who have terrorized and murdered citizens go through revolving doors. 

Here is a great example of how twisted the thinking of one such Sheriff can be.

“Our magistrates were attacked, violently, verbally… when I say violently, on social media. And they lived in fear for many days…”

“They were concerned after the shooting of Charlie Kirk because, ‘What if they shoot me because of this?’”

“So they are going to be more cautious and reluctant to allow people to be released… so it will increase our capacity here at the detention center.”

So now they’ll be reluctant to release people, NOT BECAUSE THE PUBLIC IS UNSAFE…

These comments were made in response to the second knifing on the Charlotte subway by a criminal who the justice system allowed to roam the streets until he slashed an innocent. Months ago, a young refugee from the war in Ukraine had her throat slashed by a multiple felon who had been tossed out onto the streets, and now an illegal immigrant in a sanctuary city has attacked another light rail rider. 

The Sheriff’s response? People on social media are being MEAN to the Magistrates who have let these criminals terrorize the rest of us. 

FFS. 

And notice his response to the Charlie Kirk murder. It was not horror at the violence that took Kirk’s life. He was indifferent to that. He instead claimed that he and the judges feared violence directed at them—an invented concern.

“What about me?” 

As liberals have been rioting and shooting at their political adversaries, the least criticism of them is “violence.” Notice how he kept using that term to describe speech, while ignoring the actual violence being committed by the felons who says quite explicitly he wished would be let out of prison.

Damn, you mean that people inclined to slash innocent people’s throats might be kept in jail?

What a horror!

You see how we get to the European conception of free speech, one liberal at a time. Actual criminals who commit rapes and murders are not the problem; it is the citizens who want judges and law enforcement to do their jobs who are “violent.”

Zero compassion for the victims. But an obsession with defending themselves from nonexistent threats because mean words were said.
