Al Sharpton Attacks Trump, JD Vance for Honoring Daniel Penny, Cries “Racism” [WATCH]

Al Sharpton, MSNBC’s resident outrage machine, is back in the spotlight with another round of inflammatory accusations, this time aimed at President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance, as reported by Breitbart.

During Monday’s episode of The Reid Out, Sharpton lashed out at the pair for inviting Marine veteran Daniel Penny to their box at the Army-Navy football game. Sharpton called the gesture “insulting” and accused the incoming administration of viewing black Americans “as animals.”

Sharpton, never one to miss an opportunity for racial grandstanding, expressed his anger that Penny—a Marine who subdued a threatening individual on a New York City subway—would be treated with honor.

Sharpton said, “It is amazing to me that you would have someone that choked to death an unarmed man who had mental problems and act as though he’s some kind of hero. The clear message is that you are now giving legitimacy to vigilanteism.”

The case Sharpton referenced involved Penny restraining Jordan Neely, a homeless man with a history of violent behavior and erratic outbursts. Penny’s actions were hailed by many as a courageous response to protect innocent passengers.

However, for Sharpton and the leftist media, Penny remains a villain—a convenient symbol to push their narrative of racial division.

Sharpton didn’t stop there. He also attacked Trump’s response, or lack thereof, to events like George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery during his presidency.

With no evidence, Sharpton implied that Trump’s acknowledgment of Penny was racially motivated. He remarked, “If the race was the other way around, would the reaction be the same? I think Donald Trump is clearly sending a racial signal here. I think a lot of those that have fell in line are comfortable with that. That’s frightening.”

As expected, Sharpton saved some venom for JD Vance, dredging up an old comment to fan the flames of controversy. Sharpton accused Vance of viewing black people “as animals,” referencing remarks Vance allegedly made about Haitian immigrants.

Sharpton stated, “This is the same JD Vance who accused black Haitians of eating the pets of people in the city in Ohio … he sees us as less than human.”

What Sharpton conveniently ignored is the reality of Penny’s situation. He wasn’t some rogue “vigilante” as Sharpton claims. Penny acted to prevent harm on a subway filled with terrified passengers—something New York leaders and left-wing activists have failed to do time and again.

While the liberal media wrings its hands over criminals and victims of their own policies, Penny was thrust into an impossible situation and did what was necessary.

Sharpton’s rant underscores a larger trend of demonizing individuals who stand up for safety and order, all while pushing dangerous narratives to divide Americans.

Trump and Vance’s acknowledgment of Daniel Penny reflects their commitment to supporting law-abiding citizens and those who act bravely under pressure. Naturally, Sharpton and his allies see that as a threat to their grip on the public narrative.

For conservatives, Sharpton’s outrage is par for the course. His rhetoric may get applause on MSNBC, but to the average American, it’s just more noise from a man desperate to stay relevant.
