All They Do Is Lie to Incite

There is so much to say about the Renee Good shooting. It’s hard to know where to start, and I will be writing quite a bit about this over the coming days, no doubt. 

But despite years of watching this behavior, I still can’t get past the fact that public officials will look journalists and constituents in the eyes and lie without conscience, and that the media will back them even when there is overwhelming evidence. Worse, those same reporters will get hostile toward people telling the truth, implying they are the liars. 

As usual, the worst of the offenders are the Democrats’ “designated liars.” People like Adam Schiff, Chris Murphy, Eric Swalwell, and the like are sent out to establish the falsehoods that then get repeated endlessly by others, and which are backed uncritically by the media. 

That “occupying force” is federal law enforcement officers enforcing federal law. Kind of like when Eisenhower sent the National Guard to enforce integration. You are a modern confederate.

Schiff was the first to lay out the Narrative™. Everything he said was a brazen lie,

Schiff can go on national TV and be treated as a serious truth-teller, despite the fact that absolutely nothing he has ever said is remotely true. He spent years making the most outrageous claims about Russia collusion, looked into the camera saying he had proof, and he is still treated as a credible source. Because he is the designated liar, and everybody involved knows it. 

AWFLs eat it up.

Even though that Narrative™ has been conclusively disproven by the evidence, politicians are still repeating it. Just today my mayor, Jacob Frey, repeated elements of it.

I think most of us can agree that this shooting never have happened. I don’t believe that Renee Good went out to kill an agent, but every decision she made—at the urging of Democrats like Tim Walz, Peggy Flanagan, and Mayor Frey, among others— led to that inevitability. They all called for people to break the law and interfere with ICE operations, and Good made the fatal mistake of aiming her vehicle at a law enforcement agent, gunning her engine, and hitting him with her car.

While many leftists and Democrats are trying to claim that it never happened, Mayor Frey accidentally admitted that it did, and then claimed that her doing so was OK because she didn’t kill him.

Democrats are all over the Sunday shows, justifying her actions and slandering ICE agents. Renee Good was committing felonies at the urging of all these politicians, and they are doing so to protect some of the very worst people in the country. Homeland Security has released a list of some of the people they have arrested in spite of all the interference.

ICE says all of these criminal aliens were roaming freely in the sanctuary state of Minnesota prior to arrest, and that these are the type of people that politicians and activists are referring to as their “neighbors” as they attempt to interfere with ICE.

Yep, we should eliminate ICE. That is the position of the Democratic Party today.

In Portland, two Tren de Aragua members tried to ram ICE agents in the course of their arrest, and the entire Portland political and law enforcement community came out in support of…the gang members. The Portland Police Chief even tried to hide the fact that he KNEW they were Tren de Aragua, and was forced to hold a press conference to admit the fact, yet he cried in support of the “victims” of ICE.

Portland Police @ChiefBobDay cries at a press conference after having to affirm that @DHSgov was correct in stating that the illegal Venezuelan migrants accused of trying to run down Border Patrol have ties to Tren de Aragua. Chief Day admitted that he hesitated to share the truth with the public.

On Jan. 8, Border Patrol non-fatally shot a man and a woman in east Portland after they allegedly tried to run down agents in a red pickup truck following a targeted stop. Internal communications about the incident, which was inaccurately blamed on ICE, were leaked to PDX ICE Watch by a Multnomah County first responder.

The entire city and state leadership, all run by Democrats, organized an emergency press conference to condemn the federal agents, reject DHS’ statement and to express support with the violent suspects, who they called the “victims.” Local and national media also misled the public about the shooting. Think about that. The woman who was shot is involved in sex trafficking and had been involved in an earlier shooting, yet the entire Oregon Democratic establishment is attacking ICE for trying to deport them.

Democrats are creating a completely false narrative and seizing on it for political purposes. Many are denying that ICE is a law enforcement agency (it is), that it has no powers of arrest (it does), that agents have no rights of self-defense (they do), that interfering with ICE operations is a First Amendment right (it isn’t), and are encouraging people to commit felonies. They are even saying that they will use their powers against ICE.

Democrats are arguing that attacking ICE agents, committing felony property destruction, interfering with arrests, “dearresting” (helping arrestees escape after arrest), are all legitimate forms of “protest.” They are not. They are dangerous and intended to create situations where violence escalates.

Minneapolis police allow “protesters” to break the law all the time, as long as their targets are ICE. Police were given a stand-down order as this happened:

As all this is happening, Democrats and the media are looking into their constituents’ eyes and claiming that ICE is the problem. And that if ICE is allowed to enforce the law, it is “war.”

Yesterday, Tim Walz declared Minnesota is at “war against the federal government.”

Again today, he called it “war with our federal government.”

One of the most infuriating bits of hypocrisy is the Democrats now demanding that Homeland Security wait until an investigation is concluded before making any comments about the shooting. After days of Democrats calling this shooting “cold-blooded murder,” they now want everybody else to remain silent in the face of this assault on the truth.
