Alleged Epstein Victim Condemns System That Elevated Maxwell’s Voice Before Survivors’

Alleged Jeffrey Epstein victim Teresa Helm condemned the system she claimed elevated Ghislaine Maxwell’s voice before survivors’ at a Wednesday Capitol Hill press conference.

Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie and Democrat California Rep. Ro Khanna held a press conference on the “Epstein Files Transparency Act,” and they were joined by several alleged victims in support of the legislation.

The Daily Caller asked about the interview conducted by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche with Maxwell in August. (RELATED: DOJ Releases Interview With Ghislaine Maxwell)

“She got this air time and platform …way before our voices were elevated here today,” Helm said.

“That same calm and manipulative voice that she had, so polite there that day with Todd Blanche, was the same polite, coercive, and manipulative voice I heard as she was grooming me to send me off to the home of Jeffrey Epstein, where he would assault me. So that’s what she was doing for hours: speaking with me, building a relationship with me, building trust with me,” she stated.

Helm told reporters that Maxwell allegedly led her to believe she was helping her pursue a dream job. Helm further alleged that was recruited directly from her college and flown across the country for what she thought was a legitimate interview.

She claimed Maxwell’s voice during Blanche’s meeting was the “same voice” that allegedly sent her to Epstein, whom she described as a “monster.”

“I sat there and listened to this woman’s voice lie. There was no pushback from Todd Blanche because, does he even have the facts to push back on her? We couldn’t sit there and push back,” Helm said. She asked why the alleged victims were not consulted prior to the interview or allowed to attend and sit in with Maxwell and Blanche.

Helm further questioned why Maxwell was moved from a Florida prison to a prison camp in Texas, which she described as a “prison spa.”

“None of us were consulted. I found out just like everyone here found out, through the media,” Helm told reporters.

Helm added that she is “very angry,” and that listening to Maxwell’s voice in the interview was “repulsive” and “triggering.”

Additionally, she told reporters that all the alleged victims “work very hard on healing.”

Prior to the press conference, the House Oversight Committee released 33,295 pages related to Epstein on Tuesday that were obtained from the Department of Justice (DOJ).
