An early morning immigration raid on a makeshift nightclub in the Denver metro area resulted in the arrest of approximately 50 migrants suspected of being in the country illegally, some of whom are reportedly connected to the violent Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang.
The operation, carried out on Sunday, involved multiple federal and local law enforcement agencies.
Agents from the Denver offices of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) coordinated with local authorities to conduct the pre-dawn raid.

The exact quantity of the items seized has not been disclosed.
Denver’s ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers played a significant role in the raid.
According to the Denver DEA office, the arrested individuals were transported to a detention facility for processing.
The names of those arrested and the specific charges they may face have not yet been released.
This raid is part of broader efforts by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to crack down on illegal immigration and criminal activity.
DHS recently announced that it would be collaborating with other federal law enforcement agencies to apprehend illegal migrants and address the impact of what it described as open-border policies from the previous administration.

“Thanks to the last Administration’s open border policies, we’ve seen violent criminals and gang members terrorize American communities,” a DHS spokesperson stated in a written release.
“Today’s action empowers law enforcement officials at the DOJ to help identify and apprehend aliens who have illegally come into our country.”
The Sunday raid in Denver follows other significant immigration enforcement actions initiated by the Trump administration since the inauguration.
On Thursday, ICE officials announced the arrest of 538 migrants, including a suspected terrorist, four members of the Tren de Aragua gang, and several individuals convicted of sex crimes against minors.
Among those apprehended last week was Turkish national Gokhan Adriguzel, 29, who is suspected of terrorism.
ICE records indicate that Adriguzel was arrested for entry without inspection during nationwide immigration operations conducted on Thursday.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the arrests, describing the operation as part of the administration’s efforts to restore law and order at the border and in communities across the nation.
The Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration has included increased collaboration between federal and local law enforcement agencies, as well as enhanced targeting of individuals with criminal backgrounds or gang affiliations.
The arrests in Denver highlight the administration’s focus on addressing threats posed by organized criminal networks, including the Tren de Aragua gang, which has been linked to violence and drug trafficking in the United States.
The detained individuals from the Denver raid are expected to face a range of immigration and criminal charges.
Meanwhile, federal agencies have pledged to continue nationwide operations aimed at curbing illegal immigration and removing individuals who pose a threat to public safety.
