Nine members of a North Texas Antifa cell have been convicted on multiple charges tied to the July 5, 2025 attack on the Prairieland ICE detention facility following a trial that lasted more than two weeks.

After two days of deliberations, a jury returned guilty verdicts against Benjamin Song, Savanna Batten, Maricela Rueda, Elizabeth Soto, Ines Soto, Daniel Ronaldo Sanchez-Estrada, Zachary Evetts, Cameron Arnold, also known as Autumn Hill, and Bradford Morris, also known as Megan Morris.

The defendants had been indicted in 2025 on several charges related to the incident, including providing material support to terrorists, rioting, use of an explosive device, and obstruction.

Prosecutors alleged that the group carried out an organized attack targeting the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, which houses detainees for Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Five of the defendants faced attempted murder charges in connection with the shooting of a police officer during the incident.

According to the verdicts, four of those defendants—Evetts, Arnold, Morris, and Rueda—were acquitted of attempted murder charges.

Benjamin Song was acquitted on two counts of attempted murder but was convicted on one attempted murder charge. Song was also convicted on firearms-related charges.

Several members of the group were convicted on multiple counts tied to the broader attack.

Arnold, Evetts, Song, Batten, Morris, Rueda, and Elizabeth and Ines Soto were found guilty of riot, providing material support to terrorists, explosive conspiracy, and use and carry of explosives.

Song faced additional convictions beyond those counts. Jurors found him guilty of one count of attempted murder of an officer and three counts of discharging a firearm during a violent crime.

Daniel Ronaldo Sanchez-Estrada was convicted on separate charges tied to the investigation. The jury found him guilty of corruptly concealing a document and conspiracy to conceal documents.

The verdicts also included several acquittals on specific charges.

Arnold, Evetts, Morris, and Rueda were found not guilty of three counts of attempted murder of an officer and three counts of discharging a firearm during a violent crime.

Rueda was also acquitted on a charge of conspiracy to conceal documents.

The charges stem from events that took place on July 4, 2025, outside the Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado.

According to court records and testimony presented during the trial, a group dressed in black clothing approached the detention facility and began launching fireworks toward the property.

Authorities said members of the group vandalized vehicles and damaged a guard structure during the attack.

During the incident, one of the attackers opened fire.

The gunfire struck a police officer in the neck and also targeted Department of Homeland Security corrections officers stationed at the facility.

The officer who was shot survived the attack.

The Prairieland Detention Center is located in Johnson County and operates as an ICE detention facility used to house individuals in federal immigration custody.

Federal prosecutors argued during the trial that the defendants worked together to organize and carry out the attack and that their actions constituted providing material support to terrorists.

Evidence presented in court included communications, planning activity, and actions taken during the event itself.

The trial concluded after more than two weeks of testimony and evidence presentation.

Following closing arguments, jurors deliberated for two days before delivering their verdicts against the nine defendants.

The convictions mark the conclusion of the trial phase of the case involving the July 2025 attack on the Prairieland ICE detention facility.

Sentencing dates for the defendants have not yet been publicly announced.
