Argentine President Javier Milei made waves at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, delivering a forceful speech against globalism and its proponents.
The newly elected leader, known for his outspoken anti-globalist stance, challenged world leaders and organizations to confront the consequences of their policies, particularly those tied to progressive ideologies and wokeness.
Milei opened by reflecting on Argentina’s dramatic political shift.

He noted that just one year ago, Argentina was entrenched in irrelevance due to socialist policies.
Today, he said, it stands as an example of “fiscal responsibility” and a nation committed to “honoring its obligations.”
Milei positioned Argentina as part of a growing coalition of anti-globalist leaders, listing allies such as Hungary’s Viktor Orbán, Italy’s Giorgia Meloni, Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu, and U.S. President Donald Trump.
He declared that this alliance is working to dismantle the “global hegemony of the woke left,” asserting that the influence of institutions like the World Economic Forum (WEF) is crumbling.
“A new wave of freedom is sweeping the globe,” Milei proclaimed, describing Argentina as a “ghost of Western Christmases yet to come,” embodying a fresh political approach grounded in truth and accountability.

He described wokeness as the “great epidemic of our time” and specifically targeted the transgender movement, accusing it of costing states billions while promoting what he called a “culture of sexual relativism.”
He stated that the movement has led to an entire generation “mutilating their own bodies” and called it a moral failure.
“It is our moral duty and historical responsibility to dismantle the ideological edifice of sickly wokeism,” Milei said.

One of the most controversial moments of Milei’s speech came when he directly criticized the LGBT activist community and accused them of targeting vulnerable groups, including women and children.
He referenced the case of William and Zachary Zulock, a Georgia couple sentenced to 100 years in prison for sexually abusing their adopted children and sharing footage of the abuse online.
“Without going any further, a few weeks ago, the case of two American homosexuals who, flying the flag of sexual diversity, were sentenced to 100 years in prison for abusing and filming their adopted children for more than two years, made headlines around the world,” Milei said.
“I want to be clear when I say abuse is not a euphemism because, in its most extreme versions, the gender ideology constitutes plain and simple child abuse. They are pedophiles.”
Milei then challenged world leaders who support progressive ideologies to “make themselves known” if they endorse such behaviors.
Javier Milei stood in front of the WEF, called out the LGBT activist’s agenda with children, and told people who are cool with it to show themselves.
“They are p***philes. Therefore, I want to know who endorses these behaviors.”

Milei’s speech at Davos marked a bold declaration of his anti-globalist platform.
By taking on institutions like the WEF and directly confronting its ideologies, he positioned himself as a leader willing to challenge powerful forces on the world stage.
His remarks reinforced his commitment to leading Argentina and the world in a new direction, away from globalist influence and toward a renewed focus on national sovereignty and accountability.
As he put it, the era of unchecked globalism and wokeness is coming to an end.
