Aussie Woman Blasts Schools for Letting ‘Furries’ Invade Girls’ Bathrooms [WATCH]

An Australian mother with a large social media following is calling out public schools for allegedly allowing students who identify as ‘furries’ to disrupt classrooms—and even invade girls’ bathrooms.

The influencer, known as ‘SelfLoveMumma’ or ‘natuhleei_xo’ on TikTok, shared her frustration after a young relative revealed shocking claims about the growing ‘furry’ phenomenon in his high school, as reported by The Daily Mail.

According to the student, teachers not only tolerate this behavior but openly accept it.

For those unfamiliar, ‘furries’ are individuals who adopt an animal persona—also called a ‘fursona’—often dressing up and mimicking animal behavior.

While it may sound like a strange hobby, the problem arises when these students disrupt class by hissing, purring, and growling at peers. Even more disturbing, the TikToker’s relative alleged that male students identifying as furries have been crawling into female bathrooms.

“If a straight boy was to go into a female’s toilet, and there [were] young girls in there, he would get in trouble for that, right? So, why is it OK that these “cats” and “dogs” are allowed to do this?”

The post quickly gained traction, with many commenters sharing similar concerns. One user, claiming to be a teacher’s aide, confirmed that some school administrators actually instruct staff to accommodate this behavior.

“As a teacher’s aide myself, for many of these students, whether we agree with the behavior or not, we’re given instructions to allow this.”

These concerns aren’t limited to students. Earlier this month, a Brisbane teacher was accused of engaging in ‘furry’ behavior in front of students—wearing cat ears, crawling on all fours, and even hissing at them.

Images surfaced showing the Marsden State High School teacher sporting cat ears and a lanyard labeled ‘Purr.’ The school investigated but ultimately found no official evidence to corroborate the allegations.

This isn’t the first time bizarre ‘furry’ claims have caused controversy in Australia or worldwide. Just last year, Queensland’s Department of Education had to address rumors that a school in Cairns installed a litter box for ‘cat-identifying’ students.

Similar claims have surfaced in the U.S., the U.K., New Zealand, and Canada, with some politicians speaking out against the growing trend.

Left-wing media has gone into damage control, trying to discredit these concerns as conspiracy theories. NBC News previously reported that at least 20 Republican lawmakers mentioned the issue, only for school districts to deny it.

But with more firsthand reports surfacing, parents and educators are finding it harder to ignore.

Adding another layer to the debate, critics argue that ‘furry fandom’ has roots in fetish culture. While the global furry research group, Furscience, insists the subculture is about “belonging and escapism,” others point out that it creates an environment ripe for inappropriate behavior in schools.

Despite official denials, many parents and teachers remain deeply uneasy about how this trend is being handled. If students can claim an identity that disrupts class and violates basic privacy standards, where does the line get drawn?
