A woman testifying in a London court said she believes Barron Trump helped save her life after he witnessed an alleged violent assault during a FaceTime call and contacted emergency services, according to testimony reported Wednesday by Metro, as reported by Fox News.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told Snaresbrook Crown Court that she was attacked by her former boyfriend, Matvei Rumianstev, during the early morning hours of Jan. 18, 2025.
Rumianstev, 22, of East London, has denied all allegations.

According to her testimony, the woman managed to place a FaceTime call to Barron Trump, whom she described as a friend, while the alleged assault was underway. Trump, 19, is the son of President Donald Trump.

After answering the call and witnessing what was happening, Trump contacted UK emergency services, prompting police to respond to the scene shortly after 2 a.m. local time, the court heard.
The woman testified that Rumianstev had become jealous of her friendship with Trump and that the relationship had turned violent roughly six months after it began.
She alleged that she was raped on the day she made the call and said the abuse included previous assaults and strangulation incidents.
Body-worn camera footage from responding officers was played in court, capturing Trump describing what he saw during the FaceTime call.
“I just saw a ceiling and could hear screaming. I could see a guy’s head on the phone, and then the camera turns to her crying and getting hit,” Trump was heard saying.
Trump told authorities the FaceTime call lasted approximately 10 to 15 seconds. After the call ended, he contacted emergency services.
In the 999 call played for the jury, Trump said, “I just got a call from a girl I know. She’s getting beaten up.”
After providing the woman’s address, he added, “It’s really an emergency, please. I got a call from her with a guy beating her up.”
When officers arrived at the residence, the woman identified the anonymous caller.
“I am friends with Barron Trump, Donald Trump’s son,” she told police, according to bodycam footage.
An officer was later heard telling a colleague, “So apparently, this informant from America is likely to be Donald Trump’s son. This female is friends with Donald Trump’s son. She was on a Facetime with him when this assault happened, and he’s called us.”
To confirm the report, the woman placed another call to Trump while officers were present.
“Hello, Barron, did you call the police or anything?” she asked.
“I had someone call the police,” Trump responded. “I called you guys; that was the best thing I could do. I wasn’t going to call back and threaten things to him because that would just make the situation worse.”
During her testimony, the woman said Trump “helped save my life. That call was like a sign from God at that moment.”
The court heard that the woman alleges she was repeatedly assaulted and sexually abused, including being raped in November 2024 and again on Jan. 18, 2025. She also claimed Rumianstev pressured her to withdraw her complaints.
Rumianstev, of New Providence Wharf, has denied charges of assault, actual bodily harm, two counts of rape, intentional strangulation, and perverting the course of justice. The trial remains ongoing.
