During a town hall in Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump warned that the U.S. is inching closer to “World War III territory,” placing the blame squarely on the current Biden-Harris administration.
Trump’s remarks came as wars rage abroad, with Russia continuing its invasion of Ukraine and a fresh conflict erupting in the Middle East after Hamas launched an assault on Israel, as reported by Fox News.
“We’re heading into World War III territory, and because of the power of weapons—especially nuclear weapons—I know the weapons better than anybody because I’m the one that bought them,” Trump told voters in Harrisburg.

The town hall, moderated by Sean Hannity of Fox News, allowed voters from Pennsylvania, a critical battleground state, to engage directly with the former president.
Trump highlighted his role in rebuilding the U.S. military during his presidency, noting that he upgraded various defense programs, including nuclear capabilities.
“We rebuilt our entire military. We upgraded our entire program. And you know, the one program I hated to upgrade was the nuclear program. I understand it maybe better than anybody,” he said.
Trump emphasized that his knowledge of nuclear weapons comes from personal experience and family ties, mentioning his uncle, who served as a professor at MIT.
Trump didn’t mince words when addressing the global instability. He assured the audience that the world wouldn’t be on the brink of conflict if he were still in office.
“We won’t have World War III when I’m elected. But with these clowns that you have in there now, you’re going to end up having World War III, and it’s going to be a war like no other.”
Trump: “You need a President that’s not going to be taking you to war, we won’t have WW3 when I’m elected, but with these clowns you are going to have WW3.”

The former president reiterated that had he been re-elected, the wars in Ukraine and Israel would never have happened.
“Ukraine and Russia would never be at war, and the attacks on Israel on October 7th wouldn’t have occurred. Everybody knows it,” Trump said, going on to claim that Iran was financially incapable of supporting terror groups like Hamas and Hezbollah during his presidency.
Trump’s town hall appearance comes just days before his anticipated debate with Vice President Kamala Harris in Philadelphia, another key political moment in Pennsylvania, which is expected to play a significant role in the 2024 election outcome.
