The trip served as another opportunity for Biden to double down on his environmental agenda. During his remarks, he took a jab at President-elect Donald Trump, declaring that “nobody can reverse” his so-called green legacy. In a dramatic plea, he urged humanity to safeguard the rainforest, dubbing it the “lungs” of the Earth.

As Biden wrapped up his speech and exited down a pathway flanked by teleprompters, some onlookers seized the moment to suggest the president had wandered off or gotten lost.

The incident came on the heels of the Democratic president’s continued silence on pressing issues, including Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent election loss to Trump.

Adding fuel to the fire, Biden recently raised eyebrows during an Oval Office meeting with Israeli President Isaac Herzog.

When asked by a reporter if he believed he could negotiate a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas before his term ends on January 20, Biden jokingly remarked that he’d like to see her get hit in the head with a nearby camera.
