Biden (?): You’re Damned Right I Ordered The Code Red, or Something

Uh … sure, pal. Sure you did. 

Late yesterday, Donald Trump upped the ante on exposing the fraud surrounding Joe Biden’s cognitive incapacity during his presidency. The House Oversight Committee had already started an investigation into the use of the autopen over the last four years and whether Biden made those choices as required by the Constitution, or whether a “politburo” of swamp critters made those decisions. Trump ordered the Department of Justice to conduct an official investigation into his predecessor’s actions, calling the cover-up a scandal for the ages:

President Donald Trump ordered an investigation of former President Joe Biden’s alleged “cognitive decline” to determine who decided his signature should be applied to official documents by autopen.

Trump’s directive to the White House counsel, David Warrington, in consultation with Attorney General Pam Bondi, ratchets up the pressure behind Trump’s longstanding criticism of Biden’s mental ability. The probe comes amid similar inquiries at the Justice Department and in a House committee.

“This conspiracy marks one of the most dangerous and concerning scandals in American history,” Trump wrote in his order. “The American public was purposefully shielded from discovering who wielded the executive power, all while Biden’s signature was deployed across thousands of documents to effect radical policy shifts.”

One could debate the wisdom of setting the precedent for having one administration open criminal investigations into its preceding administration. However, that debate should have taken place in 2022, when Biden (or whoever ran the White House under his name) did the exact same thing to Trump. The Biden team did everything they could to destroy Trump and failed. Having knocked down the forest of precedent and law to go after their perceived devil, the Biden team now has no shelter for the coming storm of retribution. 

Of course, this is not merely retribution, but also accountability for a crime against constitutional order, self-governance, and the hijacking of a presidency. Retribution is merely a sweetener.

This morning, Biden (or whoever is running him now) posted a statement denying that he had any cognitive impairment at all:

How believable is this? By October 2023, Biden couldn’t even get through a deposition without being carried by aides, as the Robert Hur tapes made crystal clear. Biden couldn’t even speak in complete sentences at times, and couldn’t recall what years he served as Vice President. The report from Hur could be spun by participants in the Biden conspiracy and their enablers in the media. The tapes, however, provided shocking proof that Hur had actually tried to soft-pedal Biden’s incapacity. And Biden would have another 15 months in office after those depositions. 

So this statement is absurd, especially given as a statement, as one moment’s thought would demonstrate. The issue at hand is whether Biden was so incapacitated by his cognitive decline that his aides signed legislation and pardons in his name without any meaningful direction from Biden. Why even bother putting out a written statement to answer those allegations? It suggests that Biden can’t reliably speak for himself, an impression cemented by those deposition tapes — depositions that were taken in the middle of three business days, let’s not forget, not late at night in a one-off encounter.

 Of course, Biden did try to make a public statement about this in a recent appeareance, when a reporter challenged Biden on allegations of incapacity. At first Biden made a joke about it, but then it got weird:

Is this the kind Joe Biden the media told us about?

Whoever’s attempting to manage Biden must have watched that and decided that a written statement was safer. There are reasons that the Biden handlers have kept reporters away from him since Biden withdrew from the election, and they didn’t make him available much at all before that. 

The sad part of this — and it is truly sad — is that Biden probably truly believes he was in charge. To a certain extent, Biden is a victim of the gaslighting that is taking place around him. This is elder abuse by the people who should have been more concerned about a failing old man than their grip on power, and now who should be defending his dignity rather than propping him up to distract from their crimes. It’s simply despicable, and the Bidens deserve all the disgrace that will get heaped upon them.
