We live in an authoritarian, proto-Nazi country now.
I have been in denial, but having learned of Carolyn Feinstein’s firing from her plum position at the Department of Justice, I reluctantly have to agree that we are descending into a fascist hell.
DOJ staffer claims she was fired over husband’s controversial anti-ICE app that warns users when feds are nearby https://t.co/U8FSWx5wOt pic.twitter.com/RBx0UZ5BLQ

Carolyn, you see, is married to Joshua Aaron, the creator of the ICEBlock app that warns illegal aliens that ICE officers are around, and which has also helped pinpoint the location of ICE officers for the convenience of Antifa Brownshirts who are looking for ways to assault them.
Real defenders of democracy and the rule of law, these guys.
Not only is Carolyn married to Aaron, but she apparently owns shares in his company.
Her firing is clearly based on political retribution, not the incompatibility of working for law enforcement while helping criminals escape justice and other criminals to assault law enforcement officers. If you can’t help people break the law as a lawyer (or a judge), we no longer live in a free country.
A Department of Justice staffer claims she was abruptly fired after it emerged that her husband was the brains behind a controversial anti-ICE app that warns users when the feds are closing in.
Carolyn Feinstein, who worked as a DOJ forensic accountant in Austin, Texas, alleges she was terminated last Friday as “retribution” for her spouse’s radical alert system, in which she has minority shares.
“This was retribution. I was fired because of the actions, or activism, of my husband,” Feinstein told the Daily Beast on Monday.
Feinstein’s tech husband, Joshua Aaron, recently sparked outrage after it emerged he’d created the ICEBlock app, which alerts users if Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have been spotted within a five-mile radius of them.
President Trump’s border czar Tom Homan and ICE Acting Director Tom Lyon quickly called on the DOJ to investigate after Feinstein’s hubby went on CNN last month to advertise the app — sparking immediate backlash.
Ever since Donald Trump was first elected, federal workers and their fans in the Pravda Media have been egging on the #resistance–celebrating federal employees for their disobedience to the president and their willingness to break the law.
Jim Comey leaked classified documents–many of which contained hoaxes–and he is a hero. Donald Trump has classified documents from his administration in a secure home protected by the Secret Service? Off with his head!
Feinstein admitted she has minority shares in All U Chart, Inc., which hold the IP address for the app.
She insisted, though, that it was only in case her husband were to become “incapacitated” so she could then shut it down.
A DOJ spokesperson said it had been probing Feinstein’s connection to the app for “several weeks” after it emerged she had interests in the company.
Sure, I own the company that is helping felons track down and assault law enforcement officers, but is that really so bad? It’s for a good cause!
The sense of entitlement is mind-blowing, or it would be if this were the first such example of federal employees thinking they are the government and get to do whatever they want. When they talk about “democracy,” what they mean is “L’etat c’est moi.” They apparently didn’t read the oaths they signed when they entered the government.
This is part of a larger pattern. When those State Department employees were let go, on their way out the door, they bragged about how they learned how to take down foreign governments in color revolutions, and Trump should watch out.
They all think they are, at least collectively, Louis XVI.
Trump suffered through four years dealing with such people, and this time around, he is having none of it. Of course, Feinstein was fired, and if she had experience in the private sector, it would have occurred to her that being associated in any way with ICEBlock was detrimental to her career — especially since she works for the very government that ICEBlock aims to subvert.
