Former President Bill Clinton is facing renewed questions about his health after he and his wife, Hillary Clinton, were photographed leaving the Hamptons this week with what appeared to be a portable defibrillator bag.

The sighting comes just two months after the 79-year-old was seen stumbling on a sidewalk in New York City.

The couple was photographed Thursday boarding a private plane. Images showed the former president’s security detail carrying what appeared to be a Propaq MD Air Medical Bag — a transport monitor and defibrillator commonly used in emergencies.

Clinton wore a blue jacket and tan hat, while Hillary, the former secretary of state and two-time presidential candidate, was dressed in a blue outfit with a black sweatshirt over it.

The photos, first obtained by the Daily Mail, immediately fueled speculation about Clinton’s health.

Bill Clinton has now revealed his health is slipping again after he and Hillary were seen leaving the Hamptons with a defibrillator in hand.

The device, capable of shocking the heart back into rhythm, is a tool reserved for life-or-death moments.

He has battled serious medical issues for more than two decades, including a history of heart problems that have required multiple surgeries and hospitalizations.

Clinton underwent emergency quadruple bypass surgery in 2004 at Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan after doctors discovered near-total blockages in his arteries.

The procedure came just three years after he left the White House, and physicians said he narrowly avoided a major heart attack.

In 2005, Clinton returned to the hospital for surgery to repair a collapsed lung, which doctors said was caused by scar tissue left behind from his bypass.

Five years later, he was hospitalized again after experiencing chest pains. Cardiologists inserted two stents to open a clogged artery.

Following those health scares, Clinton changed his diet and adopted a mostly vegan lifestyle.

He lost weight and said the changes gave him “a second chance.”

Despite the lifestyle shift, Clinton continued to face additional medical problems.

In October 2021, he was hospitalized in California with a urological infection that spread into his bloodstream. He was treated for sepsis with IV antibiotics and released after several days.

Clinton’s most recent hospitalization came in December 2023, when he was admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., on Christmas Eve.

His spokesperson said Clinton developed a fever and underwent testing. He was released the following day.

Concerns about his health resurfaced earlier this summer when Clinton stumbled while walking into an event in New York City during a book tour.

Video footage showed his left leg buckling, forcing him to steady himself on a pole before continuing inside.

The latest sighting of a portable defibrillator has renewed questions about whether his condition is worsening.

Defibrillator units like the one seen are typically carried by medical staff to monitor and treat patients at high risk of cardiac arrest.

Clinton has not publicly disclosed the need for such equipment, and his doctors have declined to comment on his medical status beyond acknowledging his previous cardiac and infection-related issues.

While rumors in tabloids have speculated about degenerative conditions, no credible outlet has confirmed any such diagnosis.

Clinton’s aides have also refrained from offering additional details about his health.

The Clintons remain in the public eye this summer not only for health-related concerns but also for political reasons.

The House Oversight Committee recently subpoenaed both Bill and Hillary Clinton in connection with its probe into the federal government’s handling of Jeffrey Epstein.

Neither has been accused of wrongdoing, but both have been called to testify this fall. Hillary Clinton is scheduled to appear on Oct. 9, with Bill Clinton set for Oct. 14.

In his 2024 memoir, Clinton acknowledged traveling on Epstein’s private jet but insisted he was unaware of the financier’s crimes.

“The bottom line is, even though it allowed me to visit the work of my foundation, traveling on Epstein’s plane was not worth the years of questioning afterward,” Clinton wrote.

“I wish I had never met him.”

Despite ongoing health issues, Clinton has continued to appear at political fundraisers and Clinton Foundation events.

He also delivered speeches during the 2024 campaign cycle.

At 79, he remains one of the oldest surviving U.S. presidents, younger than Joe Biden, who is 82, and George W. Bush, who is 79 but slightly older than Clinton.

Jimmy Carter, the longest-lived U.S. president, died last year at age 100.
