Billionaire businessman Les Wexner tried to clarify his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein during his congressional testimony, the Daily Caller has learned.
Wexner, CEO and founder of L Brands, the parent company of Victoria’s Secret and one of Epstein’s most prominent associates was deposed Wednesday before the House Oversight Committee in Ohio. (RELATED: How Did Jeffrey Epstein Make His Money? We Still Don’t Seem To Know)
Wexner allegedly had a role in helping build Epstein’s wealth.
Wexner testified that he was conned by Epstein, who he referred to as an Olympic-level con artist, according to a person familiar with his testimony.

Wexner stated during his testimony that Epstein never presented him with women for his sexual entertainment. He claimed that co-conspirator and convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell also never introduced him to anyone — male or female, according to the person familiar.
The L Brands founder further asserted that Maxwell never played a role in Wexner’s business dealings and that he never witnessed Epstein act inappropriately around women in his presence. (RELATED: Dan Bongino Hosts Kash Patel For Interview — But They Ignore Epstein Files)

He claimed that he never considered the convicted sex offender a close friend and that all their interactions were strictly professional. Wexner testified that they were focused on business dealings, and he did not obtain any personal favors from Epstein, the person familiar stated.
He told Democrat Oversight Ranking Minority Leader Robert Garcia that he never had a sexual relationship with Epstein, according to the person familiar.
Wexner also testified before the Oversight Committee that he had never heard of any links between Epstein and intelligence agencies.
Wexner claimed that he only went once to Epstein’s Palm Beach home, and he did not recall seeing President Donald Trump or any other prominent figures at the residence. He further testified that he was never aware of Epstein arranging sexual contact for any high-profile individuals, according to the person familiar.
The billionaire also visited Epstein’s island and the New Mexico ranch, both at Epstein’s request. During his visits to the properties, Wexner said he did not see any young women or girls, including alleged Epstein and Maxwell victim Maria Farmer. He stated that he never witnessed, nor was he aware of, Trump engaging in sexual relations with anyone introduced by Epstein or Maxwell, according to the person familiar.
Wexner added that he never discussed Epstein with Trump, nor discussed Trump with Epstein. While Epstein may have mentioned Trump, Wexner does not recall it. He also said he would not consider Trump and Epstein to have been friends.
The Daily Caller reached out to Wexner’s lawyer to verify the written statement allegedly submitted to the Oversight Committee ahead of his testimony but did not receive a response prior to publication.
