BLM Activist Tried to Meet a Child to have Sex With [WATCH]

Aston Mack, a Black Lives Matter activist originally from Florida, was arrested this week after attempting to meet up with a person he believed to be an underage girl for sex.

The meeting was part of a sting operation coordinated by law enforcement and longtime investigative journalist Chris Hansen.

The arrest, which was captured on video, shows sheriff’s deputies executing a sting operation and detaining Mack after he attempted to flee the scene.

Hansen, who has previously hosted child predator exposés on national television, was on the ground filming the arrest as part of his ongoing work with local authorities to expose online predators.

According to Hansen, Mack believed he was arranging a meeting with a minor.

However, the “child” was actually an undercover police officer posing as part of the operation.

Authorities later moved in to arrest Mack at his residence.

Video footage shows the arrest and Mack’s reaction, during which he can be heard saying, “Can you grab my shoe?” as deputies take him into custody.

Mack, 35, has been a visible figure in far-left activism.

He gained national attention during the 2020 protests following the death of George Floyd, where he was involved in leading demonstrations tied to the Black Lives Matter movement.

His activism brought him into the public spotlight both in the United States and abroad.

In 2022, Mack was featured by English Premier League soccer club Arsenal in a promotional campaign for their new away jersey.

He appeared in a photo alongside midfielder Martin Ødegaard as part of the club’s jersey launch. Following news of Mack’s arrest, Arsenal has since removed the interview and related content featuring Mack from their website.

Chris Hansen discussed the details of the sting on Fox News Channel’s Jesse Watters Primetime on Friday.

During the appearance, Hansen described the operation and revealed what Mack allegedly told him during their encounter.

“35-year-old Aston Mack, BLM activist, worked with challenged children in Orlando, claimed to me that he had the sex trafficking hotline number on his phone in his pocket and was just gonna help this girl out,” Hansen said.

“But the texts tell a very different story,” he added, indicating that the evidence collected through digital communications contradicted Mack’s claims.

Authorities have not yet released formal charges, but the investigation is ongoing.

Law enforcement agencies involved in the sting are expected to release more information in the coming days.

Mack’s prior work with children and public advocacy roles have raised questions about vetting procedures for individuals in positions of influence.

He has previously worked in youth support roles and participated in campaigns promoting social justice.

The case marks another high-profile sting involving Hansen, who has returned to investigative work in recent years and has partnered with law enforcement across the country to expose individuals attempting to prey on minors online.

There has been no public statement from Mack or his legal representation as of Saturday.
