Bondi Vows To ‘Prosecute The Prosecutors’ [WATCH]
President-elect Donald Trump has nominated former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi to be the next U.S. Attorney General, signaling a significant shift in the Department of Justice’s priorities.
Bondi, a staunch ally of Trump, has long been a vocal critic of what she describes as the “deep state” within the Justice Department, and her appointment suggests a renewed focus on accountability and reform.
In 2023, Bondi made her stance clear during an appearance on Fox News following Trump’s fourth indictment. “When Republicans take back the White House, you know what’s going to happen? The Department of Justice, the prosecutors will be prosecuted, the bad ones,” Bondi said.
“The investigators will be investigated because the deep state, last term for President Trump, they were hiding in the shadows, but now they have a spotlight on them, and they can all be investigated.”
AG nominee Pam Bondi has said that the bad prosecutors at the DOJ will be prosecuted and the investigators will be investigated.
There are a lot of things about Bondi that I don’t like but this isn’t one of them. The left will try and spin this as Trump targeting his enemies… pic.twitter.com/zYY8Yf6CcE

Bondi’s comments reflect her longstanding position that the Department of Justice has been weaponized for political purposes.
She has been particularly vocal during times of intense scrutiny against Trump, from calling for the dissolution of the Justice Department’s investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election to labeling Trump’s first impeachment in 2019 as a “sham.”
Bondi has consistently positioned herself as a defender of justice, arguing against partisan overreach.
President Trump praised Bondi’s tough stance on crime and her record as Florida’s Attorney General.
Bondi served on Trump’s Opioid and Drug Abuse Commission during his first term, where she played a key role in addressing the fentanyl crisis.
Trump’s endorsement of Bondi was filled with praise, particularly for her leadership and her dedication to the “America First” agenda.
“For too long, the partisan Department of Justice has been weaponized against me and other Republicans – Not anymore,” Trump said in a statement. “Pam will refocus the DOJ to its intended purpose of fighting Crime, and Making America Safe Again. I have known Pam for many years — She is smart and tough, and is an AMERICA FIRST Fighter, who will do a terrific job as Attorney General!”
Stephen Miller, the incoming White House policy chief and a longtime advocate for the America First movement, also expressed strong support for Bondi’s nomination.
Miller praised her tough approach to law enforcement, particularly in dealing with criminal organizations and cartels.
“She is tough as nails,” Miller said. “You want an AG who’s going to take down the cartels, take down the migrant gangs, who’s going to use the 70,000 law enforcement officers at DOJ to get rid of the foreign criminal enterprise in this country? That’s Pam Bondi. This is the AG that is going to help President Trump deliver on his promise to liberate America.”

Bondi’s appointment would mark a stark contrast to the current trajectory of the Department of Justice, which has been under scrutiny for its handling of politically sensitive cases.
Her promise to root out corruption and restore accountability to the DOJ is expected to resonate with conservatives who have long felt that the agency has been misused to target political opponents.
As the nomination process moves forward, it’s clear that Bondi’s leadership at the DOJ will focus on issues such as crime prevention, combating illegal immigration, and dismantling criminal organizations.
With the backing of Trump and his allies, Bondi’s tenure as Attorney General would likely bring significant changes to the DOJ, shifting its focus back to its original mission of upholding the law and ensuring justice for all.
