Border Czar Tom Homan Issues Warning on Assaults and Threats Against ICE Agents [WATCH]

Border Czar Tom Homan issued a direct warning to anyone who threatens or assaults Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, saying such actions will lead to arrest and prosecution, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Appearing on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures, Homan praised the work of ICE and Border Patrol agents under President Donald Trump’s leadership and emphasized the administration’s strict enforcement policies.

“He’s a strong President. He’s keeping his foot on the gas. He’s not letting up,” Homan said of President Trump.

“We have the most secure border in the history of this nation right now because of President Trump’s leadership and the men and women of the Border Patrol, but we also have the most secure border in history because of the work of ICE.”

Homan stressed that ICE is focused on removing public safety threats and outlined the surge in prosecutions against individuals who obstruct or attack immigration enforcement officers.

“We have a historic number of prosecutions for 111, that is, impediment, assault, interference,” Homan said.

He then drew a clear line between peaceful protest and criminal conduct. “You put hands on an ICE officer, you’re going to jail. You make a threat, either online or in person, you’re going to jail,” Homan warned.

“You can protest all you want. Exercise your First Amendment rights. You cross that line, you are going to jail.”

Homan also highlighted the impact of President Trump’s immigration policies on illegal immigration, noting that many left the country voluntarily rather than face enforcement action.

“There have been several studies done so far this year that over 1.5 million illegal aliens have left this country. And why have they left this country? Because of President Trump and his policies,” Homan said.

According to Homan, the administration’s approach of consistent enforcement is deterring illegal immigration globally.

“We are showing the world there is consequences. Every day the world sees over a thousand ICE teams on the street enforcing the law, applying consequences,” he said.

“This message we send to the whole world is a big part of the reason we have the most secure border in the history of this nation and people don’t want to make that journey and take the risk,” Homan added.

The interview underscored the administration’s stance on border enforcement and reiterated its zero-tolerance approach toward any attempt to obstruct ICE officers in carrying out their duties.
