“Solorio first saw the victim at her work and immediately became obsessed with her,” the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office said.
According to officials, Solorio began repeatedly showing up at the victim’s workplace and loitering outside to try to interact with her.
“Solorio would show up at her work multiple times a day and loiter outside of her work to contact her when she left. Solorio asked the victim out several times and sent her a letter where he stated he wanted to take her to Mexico,” the statement continued.
“This harassment went on for several weeks.”
Authorities said the situation escalated in May 2025 when Solorio went to the victim’s home. Prosecutors stated that he waited until her father left the residence before entering the home without permission.
Once inside, Solorio entered the woman’s bedroom while she was asleep and carried out the assault, according to reports cited by The Modesto Bee.
The woman woke up during the incident and spoke with Solorio while waiting for help to arrive. Family members came to assist her, and emergency services were contacted.
