Can the Gaslighting Get Even More Brazen?

For some reason, the Democrats are arguing that they have never called President Trump a Nazi or a racist, and Pravda is doing their best to back them up. 

Perhaps Pravda figures want to deny that they themselves slander Trump all the time. There must be polling showing that their most ridiculous accusations are not helping their cause and are hurting their credibility with all but the most insane folks out there.

It’s jarring for those of us who live on Earth rather than the universe where Spock wears a beard and loves to use an agonizer. But then again, there are millions of people who believe that nobody does gender transition surgeries or sterilize children, but who simultaneously support politicians and policies specifically aimed at sterilizing and mutilating children. 

It never happens, it is absolutely life-saving, and must never stop. Anybody who wants to ban what never happens is a transphobic bigot who wants children to commit suicide. 

Making sense is not their strong suit.

Perhaps you can forgive Nicolle Wallace for going down this road. She can do so with the absolute confidence that anybody who watches her propaganda channel is so brainwashed that they are totally incapable of doing anything but repeating what they are told, but Ed O’Keefe works for CBS, which used to be the “Tiffany” channel, was home to some of the most trusted journalists in America, and is supposedly moving back toward reporting something closer to reality. 

Bari has a lot of work to do. Good luck with that. 

Anybody who claims that nobody has called Trump a Nazi or a racist is an obvious liar, but “Democrat” and “Liar” have become synonymous, so that doesn’t shock. 

And anybody who actually has a brain that still functions reasonably well knows that slandering Trump with the most vile accusations is a standard tactic of Pravda, so I suppose I shouldn’t be shocked that Pravda is willing to go down this path. 

But what I still can’t wrap my head around is that there actually ARE Americans who still trust and admire these obvious liars. After having endured hoax after hoax, been slapped in the face with the COVID and “sharp as a tack” lies that almost nobody defends, there is a large chunk of Americans who keep going to proven liars and trusting what they say. 

Most of the outrage and invective hurled at ICE has been driven by people swallowing the steady stream of propaganda that comes from the same folks who promoted “sharp as a tack.” How brainwashed do you have to be to trust them now, once you have been burned that badly? And make no mistake, most Democrats know they were burned. They KNOW it wasn’t an innocent mistake that led them to believe Biden was still sentient, yet they keep returning to the same people to find out what they should think. 

I am almost beyond caring about the particular lies that Democrats and Pravda tell. But I can barely contain my rage at the people who still blindly follow a crowd they know to be going down a dark path. 

The damage they have done is incalculable. As the transgender trend’s momentum has slowed and will, with God’s help, be pushed back into oblivion outside the most radical circles, almost no Pravda propagandists will be held accountable for their promotion and defense of it, and Democrats who pushed it will still get elected and lionized as great, compassionate leaders. 

It’s no surprise that Pravda and Democratic leaders will want to memory hole the affair when it becomes necessary, but I cannot wrap my head around the ordinary Democrats who will let them. 

CHILDREN were permanently damaged. A new terrorist movement was born. 

And they will just shrug. 

It’s not the gaslighting that infuriates me, at least not as much as you would think. My contempt for these people is such that my capacity for outrage is modest when it comes to them. 

But I still like a lot of ordinary Democrats, and expect better of them. Yet they still listen to Adam Schiff, still vote for politicians like Abigail Spanberger and Jay Jones, and will vote for Gavin Newsom, J.B. Pritzker, or whatever scum the Democrats put forward in 2028. 

In a sane world, we would hold Nuremberg-style trials for the alphabet doctors and politicians who committed these heinous human rights abuses on children; instead, most people will shrug and continue to support the people who should be hanged for atrocities. 

The gaslighting works. Brainwashing works. And it seems to work best on people whom you would expect not to be taken in. 

I can’t say how many people will start repeating the “we never called Trump a Nazi or a racist” lie, but the number will be non-zero soon enough, and millions not so long from now.
