Democratic strategist James Carville delivered a profanity-laced tirade targeting Donald Trump in a Good Friday video posted to YouTube, escalating his criticism of the president’s leadership and political standing, as reported by Fox News.
Carville, a former advisor to President Bill Clinton, opened his remarks with direct insults aimed at Trump. “You sit down, and you listen to me, you fat f—,” Carville said at the start of the video.
He continued by referencing a prior prediction about Trump’s political future.
Here’s What They’re Not Telling You About Your Retirement
“I told you that you’d be gone by April Fools of 2027. I’m getting a little worried. I’ve got to tell you, I watched that word mash you had the night before last, I guess it was.
“Man, I’ve got to tell you, don’t go throw the f—ing number on me before the election, because I want you very, very aware on election night when people tell you what the f— they think of you. They hate you. Everybody hates you.”
Throughout the video, Carville pointed to what he described as declining poll numbers for the president, questioning how low Trump’s support could fall. “What’s your floor? Some people say it’s 33. Well, now it’s 35,” Carville said.
“You might go through the floor. ‘Cause all you’re gonna have left is hardcore MAGA and, frankly, we’re glad to have all the people that are now admitting that [voting for you was] a huge mistake. You watch these videos of people saying, ‘I can’t believe I voted for that guy.’ Well, you did, but welcome back.”

Carville’s remarks continued with a focus on the upcoming election cycle, where he expressed a desire for Trump to remain in office long enough to face political consequences. “Don’t croak on me. Don’t do that. Because I want you alive when all this s— happens to you,” he said.
The strategist also criticized members of the administration, including War Secretary Pete Hegseth, suggesting the president lacks control over his team. “It’s just starting, dude. It’s just started,” Carville added. “You don’t have any idea the pleasure people take.”
He concluded his message with another blunt remark directed at Trump. “The best way I can advise you to be a better person is to do everything you can to get rid of this turd.”
Fox News Digital reached out to the White House for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
Carville has previously acknowledged his strong opposition to Trump. In March, during an episode of his podcast, he described his views using explicit language.
“I got Trump Derangement Syndrome,” Carville said during his “James Carville Explains…” podcast.
“I hate the motherf—–. And you know what? I don’t want to get rid of it. I don’t want to get better. I want to get worse. I want to hate him more.”
