Celebrities responded to news of President-elect Donald Trump’s second election victory with a mixed bag of emotions, but almost all reactions shared a common intensity.
Social media ignited after Trump’s reelection Tuesday, with some high-powered figures showing full support for the president-elect. Podcast host Joe Rogan kept it brief yet emphatic, sharing his excitement to Twitter by writing, “WHOLE. LEE. SHIT,” alongside a video of Trump.
Business magnate Mark Cuban also offered congratulations to the president-elect, writing, “Congrats @realDonaldTrump. You won fair and square. Congrats to @elonmusk as well. #Godspeed.”

Others didn’t share the same enthusiasm.
Pop star Cardi B, who endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris and appeared at her campaign rallies, wasn’t thrilled with Trump’s victory.
“I hate yall bad,” the rapper wrote in an Instagram story alongside a video of herself, head buried in her hand.
Actress Christina Applegate also seemed disheartened following Trump’s victory.
“Why? Give me your reasons why???? My child is sobbing because her rights as a woman may be taken away. Why? And if you disagree , please unfollow me,” the “Married With Children” star wrote on Twitter. (RELATED: Stream Daily Caller Documentary ‘Cleaning Up Kamala’ Today)

Actor Rob Schneider was enthusiastic about the news.

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis criticized the president-elect in a lengthy Instagram message, forecasting a gloomy four-year stretch.
“It means a sure return to a more restrictive, some fear more draconian time. Many fear their rights will be impeded and denied,” she said. (RELATED: Harris Abandons Her Own Watch Party As Path To Victory Fades Into Night)
Trump supporters prodded author Stephen King after he took to Twitter to lament the election’s outcome.
“There’s a sign you can see in many shops that sell beautiful but fragile items: LOVELY TO LOOK AT, DELIGHTFUL TO HOLD, BUT ONCE YOU BREAK IT, THEN IT’S SOLD,” the author wrote. “You can say the same about democracy.”
King’s comment section immediately swelled with criticism as Trump supporters mocked and challenged his stance. The post has since been made private and cannot be shared.
