Former NBC News host Chuck Todd is voicing his frustration with Elon Musk, accusing the billionaire of undermining the “trusted information ecosystem” and labeling him “un-American.”
Todd’s remarks came during an episode of The Chris Cillizza Podcast, where he criticized Musk’s influence and recent moves to restructure government spending.
Todd, who previously moderated Meet the Press before being let go by NBC, expressed concern that Musk has significantly altered the media landscape and eroded public trust in journalism.
Chuck Todd is out at NBC News.
A shameless, dishonest, moralizing propagandist—Todd once berated Americans for “spreading disinformation” about the vaccines while yelling the “only ones dying are the unvaccinated!”

Dennis Quaid’s #1 Warning for Americans
“If democracy is a quote-unquote ‘left-wing ideology’ to Elon Musk, I mean, this man is un-American as far as my definition of America is,” Todd said during the interview.
He went on to claim that Musk’s actions have caused serious damage to the nation’s media infrastructure.
“The fact that more people aren’t offended by this man’s actions … I mean, it shows you how much he has helped successfully destroy the trusted information ecosystem because this is a five-alarm fire,” Todd added.
“Elon Musk is a five-alarm fire and the country doesn’t realize it yet.”
No offense but your boy Chuck Todd seems extremely mentally unbalanced. I hope he gets the help he needs.

The fact that @chucktodd thinks we **ever had** a “trusted information ecosystem” disqualifies him from the discussion
But then again, Chuck lied that Musk remotely implied that democracy is a “left-wing ideology”

Todd’s criticism follows Musk’s ongoing efforts to restructure companies under his leadership, including X (formerly Twitter), and his increasing involvement in discussions about free speech, government spending, and media bias.
Since acquiring X, Musk has made significant changes to the platform, including reducing censorship, exposing past government-media collusion through the Twitter Files, and shifting its operational focus.
The remarks from Todd reflect broader frustrations among liberal media figures who have openly criticized Musk for his stances on free speech and his decision to challenge traditional media narratives.
While Todd has long been a vocal critic of conservative viewpoints and figures, his latest comments appear to signal a deep concern within legacy media about Musk’s growing influence over public discourse.
Chuck Todd sounds super butthurt that people don’t trust him and his “information ecosystem” anymore. Wonder why that is…

Despite these concerns, Musk continues to assert that his push for transparency and open debate aligns with democratic principles.
Todd’s statements come at a time when traditional media outlets face declining trust from the public, with many Americans turning to alternative sources for news and analysis.
