CIA Set to Axe Woke Bureaucrats in Historic Mass Firing

The deep state is getting a much-needed shake-up. The CIA is reportedly preparing for its largest mass firing in nearly 50 years, and the first ones out the door? Officers dedicated to the left’s favorite obsession—diversity and recruitment quotas, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

According to The New York Times, the agency is axing a number of employees who had been focused on so-called “recruiting and diversity” efforts. And that’s just the beginning.

More terminations are expected to follow as the CIA aligns with President Trump’s executive order putting an end to the Biden administration’s leftist hiring agenda.

This comes hot on the heels of another major move—Trump’s reported plan to fire 6,000 IRS workers. That’s a lot of bureaucrats suddenly out of work, and conveniently, most of them were brought in under Biden’s watch. The clean-up operation appears to be in full swing.

Despite the agency’s efforts to cut ties with these diversity-focused hires, the process hasn’t been entirely smooth. The CIA had already begun summoning affected officers, instructing them to resign or face termination.

However, a federal court quickly intervened, halting the process for now.

A judge in the Eastern District of Virginia is set to hear arguments on Monday over whether the agency can proceed with the firings.

Meanwhile, government lawyers have hinted that the purge is far from over, suggesting that CIA Director John Ratcliffe could move to dismiss even more personnel as part of the effort to roll back Biden-era policies.

Kevin Carroll, an attorney representing some of the soon-to-be unemployed officers, admitted that the government’s latest legal filing points to this being just the first wave. “The filing suggested the firings were only beginning,” Carroll stated.

For years, federal agencies have been packed with leftist ideologues pushing race-based hiring and woke agendas under the guise of “diversity.” The CIA’s decision to cut these roles signals a much-needed return to prioritizing national security over political correctness.

This move is just the latest in a broader effort to dismantle the bloated bureaucracy that has thrived under Democrat leadership.

The Biden administration spent its term stuffing agencies with loyalists who prioritize progressive social policies over efficiency and effectiveness. Now, it looks like their taxpayer-funded activism is coming to an end.
