Clueless Joe Co.: Has Winken Blinken Actually Met the New Boss?

Over and over again, the cluelessness of the Biden administration has people’s heads shaking, hitting desks, or simply thrown back in disgusted astonishment.

TELL ME HE DIDN’T SAY THAT

Their complete inability to grasp any given situation was on display again yesterday as our diffident and generally incompetent Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, wandered out to a podium to mumble a few words on the state of the insurgency that had just conquered Syria.

I don’t know what I was expecting from this misbegotten spore off the old White House mushroom, but it most assuredly wasn’t what came out of this idiot’s mouth.

What sort of deluded fool tells the world that the United States thinks it’s a wonderful thing to should be celebrated that, however gratifying it is to see a vile, barbarous dictator meet an ignominious end, that having a radical Islamic terrorist group doing the usurping is somehow ‘better’? 

How could he know what these people are and say THIS with a straight face?!

And just how swell DO you think that’s going to be in a fundamentalist ISLAMIC regime? Of course, Blinken helped engineer the Taliban’s return, and Afghanistan is now a veritable paradise. So much better than it was.

Does Blinken not know these barbarians already have a track record?

Does Blinken not know they were already scooping up women on their way in?

The videos of what Al-Qaeda offshoot group HTS (Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham is a coalition of northern Syria-based Sunni Islamist insurgent groups that evolved from Jabhat al-Nusrah, or “Nusrah Front,” al-Qa’ida’s former branch in Syria) has been doing as they’ve taken over Syria are horrifying. Hangings, torture, etc – all the hallmarks of barbarism that Blinken lauds as over because Assad’s prison is now open are being perpetrated by an offshoot of the same people who took down the Trade Center.

The American secretary of state just told them, “You go, guys.”

Did Blinken not check his own counterterrorism guide to see if these savages were on the list before touting how wonderful it was for Syria to have them in now charge?

Only the Biden administration could look at a resume like HTS leader al-Jolani’s and say to themselves, “Ya know. I think we got someone we can work with here. Let’s suck up some. See what happens.“

CNN must have felt the same because they’re worried about offending him by not using an Islamist’s pronouns.

Dear Secretary OMG-how-clueless-are-you Blinken – the new bosses are the same, if not worse, than the old boss. Al-Jolani has more boxes ticked than a tourist at a Las Vegas free buffet – al-Qaeda, ISIS, he started his own Islamic fanatic fan club, and now he’s the titular head of the ‘Syrian’ government.

…But, on cue, the neocons crawled out of the woodwork to gloat, finding some solace in the bloodshed and mayhem after their recent electoral drubbing. In a little over 24 hours, they proved that they’ve learned nothing from over two decades of disastrous American meddling in the Middle East.

…Given the makeup of the Syrian rebel coalition (al-Qaida and ISIS ties abound), a “potentially Islamist-flavored” seems like a rosy, even willfully naive, prediction. In reality, Syria will most likely become the Baskin Robbins of the Middle East, with a full 31 flavors of Islamic extremism.

Just look at the warlord who currently controls Damascus, the Syrian capital, and leads the largest group in the rebel coalition. Muhammad al-Jawlani has the resume of a lifelong jihadi. Inspired by the 9/11 terror attack, he got his start fighting U.S. troops for al-Qaida in Iraq in 2003. He then crossed over into Syria in 2011 to help lead the al-Nusra Front, al-Qaida’s affiliate in the country. In 2017, he split with al-Qaida to lead Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, a terrorist organization that preaches “popular jihad” and “a fundamentalist interpretation of Islamic law.”

After he became the leader of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, the State Department offered a $10 million reward for information that would lead to al-Jawlani’s capture.

The US State Department had its own bounty on this guy’s head – how does Blinken ignore that?

But Blinken and happy neo-con warmongers are all “Yaysers – new boss!”

Maybe it’s because they saved themselves $10M in cool terrorist reward cha-ching payouts? 

God only knows.
