CNN Guest: Hunter Needed Pardon to Avoid Trump Firing Squad

Joe Biden had to pardon Hunter because Donald Trump is bringing out the firing squads. 

This passes for political analysis on CNN. I kid you not.

I am stupid enough not to understand the reasoning, I am afraid. It seems to me that if Donald Trump intended to put Hunter Biden (or anybody else) before a firing squad at will, no little piece of paper, no matter how pretty, would prevent the outcome. 

For instance, here is the same commentator, Leigh McGowan, talking about how truth is so important in politics that censorship is necessary. 

Apparently, imaginary Trump firing squads overturn this notion. 

This is the same sort of Democrat logic that makes them believe that putting a “Gun Free Zone” outside a school will prevent school shootings. I don’t understand that logic either, but then again, I am not a Democrat.

I am a simple man, incapable of playing the kind of 4-D chess in which it is not a lie to say out loud that you will never pardon your son while behind closed doors discussing plans to do so. Democrats look at this and nod knowingly because they know what you and I don’t: words are flexible things. It is our fault that we thought the words Biden used meant what we thought they did. 

Biden and the Democrats live in Critical Theory-land, where words shift meaning at will.

In a very real sense Biden really DIDN’T pardon Hunter. He saved him from a Trump firing squad, which is a different thing entirely.

To me the most interesting question is, as Scott Jennings brought up, why the Democrats are suddenly all-in on claiming that the Justice Department is politicized. Are they saying that Merrick Garland abused the Justice system? 

Are Democrats agreeing with Trump all of a sudden?

Of course not. “Politicized” means what Democrats want it to mean. 

There is no one story that proves the Pravda media is awful, but among the most egregious examples is how they covered the Hunter Biden laptop story. The press has been covering for Biden’s corruption for decades, of course, but they went above and beyond when it came to Hunter and his laptop.

They ignored it. They shilled for Biden. They hid the fact that the FBI KNEW it was real. They ignored the crimes. They rhapsodized about a “father’s love.” they practically begged to be included in Hunter’s drug-fueled parties. They shilled for his paintings. They promoted his book. 

And now they are defending him from execution by Trump.

Jon Stewart is right in both respects on this one: admit it, most of us would have pardoned our son in a situation similar to Biden’s. I never believed Biden when he said he wouldn’t pardon Hunter–you can and should hold Biden accountable for his lies, since they were motivated by politics and intended to show Trump in a bad light–but the Democratic Party moral posturing and their 180 now is totally fair game. 

Biden was a good man because his commitment to the rule of law was demonstrated by his willingness to sacrifice his son to Justice. 

Oops. Of course not. Biden wouldn’t sacrifice a dollar to save America from her enemies–he sold us out long ago. Of COURSE, he is going to pardon his bagman son, just as he sacrificed his son to drugs and prostitutes to keep his bagman up and running. 

It’s the gaslighting. Always gaslighting. Everybody in the media and in politics knows Biden is bent, his son is guilty of hundreds of crimes, and that Joe was always going to pardon him. 

Biden is on his way out the door, and good riddance. It’s our job to expose the ridiculous hypocrisy of his enablers in the media and politics. 

Look at Chuck Todd, who has defended both Hunter and Joe countless times against Republicans, now complaining about how awful Joe and Hunter are and how Joe never should have run for president.

He rightly calls Joe Biden an enabler who took advantage of his son–now. How many years did he defend Joe Biden when it served Todd’s political desires?

His complaint about Biden is that he has undermined the Democrats. That’s all. Todd, like Biden, cares most about power. 

This is who these people are. Liars and cheats who care most about power, money, and prestige. They primp and preen about norms and ethics, cry “firing squad” and “Hitler” to smear their opponents and justify crimes, and seem utterly confused why ordinary Americans hold them in contempt. 

They must be destroyed.
