Ongoing demonstrations in Los Angeles following recent ICE enforcement operations have escalated into violent confrontations, resulting in arrests, damaged property, and injuries to law enforcement.
Despite growing evidence of widespread unrest…
Only invaders would commit violence while waving foreign flags — and burning the American one.
These riots are the greatest case for deportations there is.

…several media outlets, including CNN, have described the protests as “peaceful”—a characterization that sparked a heated exchange between Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) and CNN anchor Dana Bash during a Sunday interview.
Bash began the segment by comparing the current events in Los Angeles to the 1992 riots following the Rodney King verdict, attempting to downplay the present violence.
“What did happen in 1992 was so different from what we’re seeing now,” Bash said.
“That was a real riot that went all across the city of Los Angeles after a verdict in the Rodney King case. This is a situation where the—”
Mullin interrupted Bash before she could finish. “Dana, if you have people… that are—” he started.
Bash interjected again, stating, “They’re saying that they have it under control. And the president is sending national troops—federal troops in a way that hasn’t been done in a long time.”
Mullin pushed back firmly.
“Dana, you and I can look at this… we can obviously see that it is not under control. It’s not under control. You and I both can see that.”
Bash acknowledged the point with a brief “Right,” but Mullin continued, concluding, “And a riot is a riot. They’re throwing all types of objects at law enforcement, and the president’s absolutely right.”
.@DanaBashCNN suggests that what’s been happening in LA—arson, rocks thrown at moving vehicles, law enforcement being attacked—isn’t a “real riot.”

The senator’s comments came in response to widespread coverage of the protests following ICE raids in the city.
While local and federal authorities have confirmed arrests related to violent activity, some national media outlets have continued to characterize the demonstrations as largely peaceful.
CNN’s senior national security analyst Juliette Kayyem also weighed in on the situation, appearing to downplay the severity of the unrest.
“So, there’s unrest,” Kayyem said.
“Let’s start with, there’s protest, lawful protest, which is allowed in this country. There is some unrest, generally dealt with by local law enforcement, and that there needs to be state support through state police, and sometimes even National Guard under a governor’s authority. What is happening tonight is unprecedented.”

In addition to Kayyem’s remarks, footage from other CNN segments shows reporters on the ground referring to the scene in Los Angeles as “very peaceful,” despite confirmed reports of fires, projectiles thrown at officers, and ongoing street blockages.

President Donald Trump authorized the deployment of 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles over the weekend to assist in restoring order.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump defended the move, writing, “These Radical Left protests, by instigators and often paid troublemakers, will NOT BE TOLERATED… MASKS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED to be worn at protests. What do these people have to hide, and why??? Again, thank you to the National Guard for a job well done!”
The president’s decision followed reports from federal officials that ICE agents were attacked with debris and that protest activity escalated into organized disruptions of government facilities.
The situation remains fluid, with further protests expected and a continued federal presence in place to assist with law enforcement.
