Comedian Eddie Griffin took aim at Americans reportedly planning to flee the United States following President-elect Donald Trump’s resounding victory in the 2024 election.
Griffin, known for his provocative humor, addressed the phenomenon on his podcast this week, referring to those leaving as “sick ass sons of bitches.”
Griffin’s comments were directed at reports that some Americans are considering four-year cruises as a means of leaving the country during Trump’s presidency.

He highlighted the steep cost of such an escape, estimated at $229,000 for a four-year trip.
“For those that are scared of President Trump’s presidency, these cruise ships are offering a four-year getaway, but it’s expensive as a motherfer to get out of the United States for four goddamn years,” Griffin said.
He questioned the motives of those considering leaving the country, sarcastically suggesting that Trump’s win shouldn’t be cause for such drastic actions. “What the f*** are y’all trying to leave this country for, you sick ass sons of bitches? Just because Donald Trump won, you think, ‘Oh, the country’s going down the toilet,’ get the f*** out of here,” Griffin added.
Griffin didn’t stop there, speculating that individuals tied to controversial figures like Sean “Diddy” Combs and the late financier Jeffrey Epstein might be among those fleeing on the high-priced cruises.
“I know who’s going to get on the motherfu**er [cruise ships], all the Diddy people, all the Epstein people, all you motherf**kers getting on them cruises right now, you sons of bitches — and you pedophiles,” he said.
Griffin also referenced conspiracy theories surrounding missing children and alleged trafficking networks.
In a striking portion of his commentary, Griffin alluded to alleged “crates” in California that he claimed were filled with children. “And who going to open the crates?” he asked. “There’s some crates in California filled with motherf**king people in there screaming inside the crates — open the crates! That’s where the 300,000 children is, sons of bitches.”
The figure of 300,000 aligns with reports involving Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs) who crossed the border and were released into the United States under the Biden-Harris administration.
An inspector general previously alleged that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) failed to provide court appearance notices to approximately 320,000 children, losing track of their whereabouts.
Griffin linked these allegations to broader accusations of child trafficking, suggesting that certain groups might be involved in rituals or other activities. “Y’all hiding them, [because] you wanna do some motherf**king rituals and praise the little mothef**kring horn-headed sons of bitches, you freak sons of bitches,” Griffin said.
Griffin’s comments come as Trump prepares to reenter the White House following a significant victory in the 2024 presidential election.
Trump secured a dominant win over Kamala Harris, marking a dramatic political shift.
While Griffin’s remarks blend humor with alleged conspiracy theories, they reflect the polarized atmosphere surrounding Trump’s return to the presidency.
As some Americans consider drastic moves, Griffin’s commentary highlights the cultural tensions that continue to dominate the political landscape.
