Imagine if the Donald Trump for President campaign demanded that questions directed at Trump were pre-scripted and that the campaign would get the right to pre-approve quotes derived from those interviews.
We would hear nonstop about propaganda, suppressing the truth, First Amendment concerns, and be treated to a media freakout that would go on for days or weeks.

Not so ‘free’ press
We are well into the “now it can be told” phase of the Biden presidential term. With Biden out of office and disgraced even within his own Party, the very people who enabled some of the most insane lies and corruption are dumping the details, hoping to get out ahead of the growing horror and disgust aimed at those who lied for years in order to gain access to power.
This is the same phenomenon we see in RICO prosecutions–the smaller fish dumping the details that implicate the bigger ones. Their goal is to escape the fallout from their participation in the fraud on the American people–hoping that they not only can escape the consequences of their actions but even come out as brave whistleblowers.
Even members of the media are trying to get into the grift. The very same people who committed the fraud are trying to capitalize once again on perpetrating it, this time by blowing the whistle. Jake Tapper is one example, and there will be many more. Books will be written, TV hits made, and newspaper stories about the shocking revelation that Biden was corrupt and the Biden administration a Potemkin Village will be shot out at us as if from a cannon.
After World War II there was some of this, but in that case, national security was a reasonable excuse for shading the truth. I suppose that in the mind of some of the perpetrators of these hoaxes, this, too, was “national security”–after all, in their view, their own careers’ success is a matter of great national importance, and Republicans gaining power is a national security threat.
This is the same excuse that the Soviet Union’s regime used to lie constantly to the Russian people. “Comrade, we must lie to protect The State!”
BS. The Pravda Media is an extension of the Deep State, these “whistleblowers” are members of the Nomenklatura switching allegiance to the next regime that will have them. All of them–Media and “whistleblowers” alike still have the same contempt for the hoi polloi and believe that their judgment alone counts in who can and cannot have power.
I suppose it is better than not that these people are (kinda) coming clean, but they surely aren’t heroes for doing so. They are like the hit men turning on their bosses to get out of long jail sentences and get into witness protection.
