Lake Tahoe saw more than just swinging clubs and charity smiles this weekend—it witnessed a comedy legend channeling his inner Slim Shady.

At the annual American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament, actor and comedian Ray Romano took center stage and surprised everyone with a karaoke performance that’s now making waves across social media.

Romano, best known for his role in Everybody Loves Raymond, delivered an unforgettable—and utterly unique—rendition of Eminem’s iconic track Lose Yourself.

Trump’s Sovereign Wealth Fund: What Could It Mean For Your Money?

Though the 2002 anthem is known for its intense, rapid-fire delivery, Ray brought his own twist, rapping every lyric in an exaggeratedly slow, deliberate style that had the crowd roaring with laughter.

Forget the intense cadence of Marshall Mathers.

Ray’s version was like watching someone try to sprint underwater—and that was exactly the point. It was pure comedy gold.

“You gotta see the video, which is now making the rounds on social media,” one fan posted online. “Ray’s rapping every single lyric … but he’s going super slow.”

This Could Be the Most Important Video Gun Owners Watch All Year

Romano’s deadpan delivery of Lose Yourself was part of the tournament’s popular karaoke segment—a lighthearted break from the friendly golf competition that draws celebrities and athletes alike.

And while he may not have matched the vocal prowess of fellow attendees like NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce, Ray Romano managed to steal the spotlight in his own hilarious way.

The crowd certainly loved it. Laughter erupted across the venue as Romano trudged through each bar of Eminem’s hit song with endearing awkwardness.

It wasn’t just the on-site audience enjoying the moment either. Videos quickly went viral online, earning praise from fans who appreciated the comedian’s fearless approach to the notoriously difficult rap track.

Ray’s rendition appeared to be a big hit at the event and on the internet, people are digging it.

It’s not the first time the tournament has produced viral karaoke moments.

Last year, Travis Kelce brought the house down with a performance of Whitesnake’s Here I Go Again, even dedicating it to pop superstar Taylor Swift.

This year, the Kelce brothers once again showed off their musical chops, joining together to belt out Bob Seger’s classic Old Time Rock and Roll.

But while the Kelces played the rock-star card, Romano took a different route. His slow-paced, nearly spoken-word performance of Lose Yourself offered something fresh—and hilariously unexpected.

And of course, no performance of Eminem’s Lose Yourself would be complete without referencing one of the song’s most iconic lines: “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy. There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti.” But in Ray’s case? “The best part is, he didn’t vomit mom’s spaghetti!!!”

The American Century Championship isn’t just about golf—it’s about celebrities letting loose, entertaining fans, and making unforgettable memories.

With stars ranging from sports legends to Hollywood names, the event has become an annual highlight not just for golf enthusiasts but for fans of good-hearted celebrity antics.

And this year, Ray Romano’s performance proved once again that comedy, charisma, and just a little bit of courage can go a long way in stealing the show.

Whether he was paying tribute to Eminem or simply leaning into his signature awkward charm, Romano reminded us all why he’s still one of the funniest guys in the game.

As one online commenter put it, “You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow—and Ray definitely didn’t miss.”
