David Sacks, the entrepreneur and political adviser often referred to as Trump’s “crypto-czar,” is shedding light on the growing controversy surrounding USAID’s financial activities.

During a recent appearance on the All In podcast, Sacks discussed how revelations from DOGE have caused alarm among Washington’s establishment.

According to Sacks, USAID functions as a massive funding mechanism that benefits specific political interests and media outlets, raising questions about how much of this taxpayer money has been used to manufacture artificial support for progressive policies.

Dennis Quaid’s #1 Warning for Americans

Sacks pointed to the staggering amount of taxpayer dollars being funneled through USAID, suggesting that the funds are not being used as intended.

“We’re in debt almost $40 trillion, and anytime anyone tries to cut anything in Washington, the whole city screams bloody murder. The question is, why? Well, now we know. The money is all going to them,” Sacks said.

He elaborated on how numerous media outlets and political organizations are financially benefiting from USAID funding.

“New York Times, getting paid. Politico, getting paid. Bill Kristol, perennial warmonger, getting paid. Ukraine, like 11 out of 12 publications, getting paid. Viktor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary, was saying his political opposition is funded by USAID.”

“In Poland, the left-wing political opposition is funded by USAID. BBC in the U.K. Every left-wing organization in the world seems to be getting paid by this slush fund at USAID, which distributes $50 billion a year. That’s a billion dollars a week. That’s a lot of money.”

Sacks suggested that this funding raises serious questions about the legitimacy of left-wing movements worldwide.

“It makes you wonder. The left, in general, tries to portray itself as a movement of the people. That it’s grassroots, this is the exact opposite. This is astroturf. This money is coming from the top down out of Washington to fund all these groups all over the world. So it makes you wonder, what is the real level of local support for these left-wing policies all over the world?”

The exposure of USAID’s financial activities through DOGE has led to increased scrutiny of how taxpayer dollars are being used.

Critics argue that these funds, which are meant for international development, are instead being used to prop up specific political ideologies and foreign media organizations.

The revelations have caused significant pushback from establishment figures in Washington, as well as media outlets and organizations that benefit from USAID funding.

As the investigation into USAID spending continues, more details are expected to emerge about how these funds have been allocated.

With billions of dollars at stake, Sacks and other critics believe that the exposure of this financial network could lead to major political consequences.

The controversy surrounding USAID is likely to grow as more information comes to light, and the debate over taxpayer-funded political influence intensifies.
