Democrat Senators Pushing to Restore Pentagon Funding for Puberty Blockers

The Alphabet ideology balloon may have popped in the wider culture, but the progressives are still 100% committed to what they call the civil rights issue of our times: sterilizing and mutilating as many children as possible. 

In the National Defense Authorization Act passed by the House of Representatives, the funding of puberty blockers for the children of servicemembers was banned. Fourteen Democrat Senators are pushing to reinstate the funding despite the clear evidence that children are harmed by their use.

Alphabet ideology has nothing to do with the well-being of children, medicine, or civil rights–it has to do with the promotion of a neo-Marxist Critical Gender theory that aims to undermine the connection between physical reality and internal thoughts and perceptions. Hence, the denial that sex has anything to do with biology; it is an internal state of mind. 

Democratic senators plan an effort Monday evening to use taxpayer money to pay for minors’ sex changes.

According to a report on NBC News, 14 party lawmakers plan to bring to the floor an amendment that would remove from the massive defense-spending bill a ban on such use of Pentagon money.

The provision would bar “medical treatment for military dependents under the age of 18 who are diagnosed with gender dysphoria” under the military’s health care program, Tricare.

This is what amounts to a religio-political movement–the same kind of post-Christian search for meaning and grasping for power that underlies CRT, BLM, intersectional theory, and now the “Kill the CEO movement.” They are all deeply connected by an intellectual thread that animates progressivism–the desire to overturn the current moral, cultural, and political order and replace it with one dominated by the left. 

There is no real medical dispute, although the debate is often framed in medical terms. That is all a smokescreen. It is about brainwashing the next generation into something that falls within the overarching term “Queer,” which is less a sexual preference than an identity predicated on a rejection of Bourgeois culture. 

In an ironic twist, just days after Great Britain–which is now governed by the near-socialist Labour Party–recently banned the use of puberty blockers on children entirely, Dame Hillary Cass, the now-famous author of the Cass Review, answered questions in the House of Lords on this issue.

It may be true that some Democrats mistakenly believe that there is a genuine medical dispute or even that the “science is settled” on these matters. But the people pushing Alphabet ideology know exactly what they are doing. This is nothing other than yet another tool in the neo-Marxist toolbox to undermine the family, destroy Judeo-Christian values, and foster a cult similar to the one that Mao built during the Cultural Revolution. 

In a vote to end debate and advance the NDAA, the Senate voted 83-12. A final vote could happen tomorrow.

Democrats just wanted the fight over.

Non-progressive Democrats are having none of it, but I expect that politically the tail will wag the dog. There are too many true believers for this issue to go away, and it will plague the Democrats for years to come. 

Most of these Senators are merely useful idiots, but useful idiots who choose the side of evil remain agents of evil. Every single one of these Senators deserves any bit of backlash we can give them. 

In the meantime, it is our duty to ensure that the American people, who are turning their back on this ideology in disgust, know that the Democrats are foursquare behind it even after the election. Tammy Baldwin, one of the ringleaders pushing this amendment, won by only 30,000 votes. Republicans need to hang this around her neck during the next election.
